What is he doing now ??

Davros · 14/03/2005 18:04

Essbee, you desperately need to see your GP and/or Dev Paed. Until you get some answers, which could take some time, I would seriously consider trying medication with him. I know some on here have children on Ritalin, my DS is on something called Risperidone to reduce anxiety. Please give it a try if you can, even for the short term. My DS has broken windows before, banged his head so hard against the wall that he's made holes (old crap walls though), thrown things etc etc. It is a side of whatever it is that is simply unmanageable.

Essbee, is everything alright ??

cant his dad come round and help. Wasnt he helpful last week?

will a film or something soothe him?

SoupDragon · 14/03/2005 18:18

No good talking on the phone to me - he doesn't listen to me either.

nutcracker · 14/03/2005 18:18

Does he have a tv in his room ?? If he does i'd put a film or something on for him until he calms down a bit more.

nutcracker · 14/03/2005 18:19

Oooh great minds Keane

Keane · 14/03/2005 18:19

you ought to make sure he is in his room

fairyfly · 14/03/2005 18:19

go and sit with him for a bit essbee, before he runs off again

nutcracker · 14/03/2005 18:19

OOh yes, he can't climb out of his window or anything can he ??

AuntyQuated · 14/03/2005 18:20

how would he react if you went and asked him for a cuddle?

SoupDragon · 14/03/2005 18:21

IIRC the big opening window in his room is locked.

mummytosteven · 14/03/2005 18:27

as he sounds to be secure in his room, probably best to wait for both you and him (or at the very least you to calm down a bit).

and then can you get a docs appointment, as Davros suggested, in the next couple of days?
