You need to hammer them ive sent 4 messages today finally they've issued back payment from may and ill receive it on the 31st

Well I've hammered them today sent the same messages 4 times maybe 5 under payments and they've adjusted all my statements now and said ill get backpay on wednesday from may, so keep pestering and don't stop

When did you notify them of the change? It’s really taking the piss now, it’s over a month if it was the other way around they would soon stop all uc payments. Mine needs to be backdated to March ( coc took 31 weeks 🤦‍♀️ and now the wait for this )

Have been asked for our daughters birth certificate since then & for bank details (must have missed them from back of form?!)

@Curlycookie5 when your claim was made a priority did they say it will be a month to you and it only took a few days? I rang today as i wanted to make sure it was marked as a priority and it has been but they said i wont hear anything until the end of next month. X

Aww I hope you hear soon and get someone handling your child’s case like mine he was so lovely and told me everything I needed to know over the phone it’s a really long horrible process and I don’t think we should after fight has hard has we do for our kids fingers crossed you hear soon and your child gets the award you was looking for ❤️

Thats great to know you actually get lovely ones and im glad he was so helpful for you! Im used to it, always had to fight for my children and its a shame alot of us do as we would all love for our children to be okay and not have the struggles they do. Ive also done a COC for my oldest as i know she should be getting HRC and possibly HRM and im also waiting on my NCs for my twins but been waiting ages for them too! So im still in for the long haul i guess X

I sent my forms off on the 19th December, recorded delivery. They got the forms on the 22nd according to Royal Mail. Do I still need to wait for a scan date?

most people that was made a priority at that time received a decision in 3 days, this was last year but surely if it’s a priority then it should be looked at urgently, I hope you hear soon

They said it would be done in the next week to week and a half but they was done in a few days

Thank you, i dont get why he told me a month. He said il get a letter or text when a decision is made. Do you think a decision has been made and he just didnt want to tell me as its bad news? And thank you i hope i hear soon too x

They always say longer than it will be to stop us calling, some of them do say they have added it to the priority list but actually don’t but as soon as it has it doesn’t take long, at first I waited 10 days and called and it hadn’t even been added to the priority list the call handler apologised and added it and my decision was made on the 3rd day. I think they are just being slow over Christmas and new year, uc haven’t been much better. The way I look at it is if the dm took leave over Christmas they will be back full time on Monday so hopefully you will get your decision by next week latest

What date are we up to with MR? My SD was 27/6 so we're at just over 26 weeks

Someone posted yesterday to say they'd been awarded, their SD was 16/06 for a MR! Looking hopeful.
My MR SD is 07/07 so I'm right behind you at 25 weeks. What a flipping wait it's been :') good luck!

Im hoping your right i really am, im just fed up with all the waiting and there being no certainty that they are going to be awarded. I have sent off tones of proof but i have seen loads of people turned down even with a lot of proof. Thank you so much for your help, it does put me a little bit more at ease as ive been told multiple times i should find out soon and havent. Im hoping universal credit get their fingers out and start sorting yours out ASAP its a joke that youve been waiting so long for them to backdate it for you xx

Can anyone figure this my DLA scan date was 20th June been awarded from this date and this is the date I gave UC for child disabled element. They've sent me a letter saying they owe me £5817 from June and they're claiming before this they've already paid me £3794 not including December that I'm due on Friday . The math ain't mathing and ive wrote on my journal it isn't right to me and I'm not being hit with an overpayment later down the line

What rate have you change from and to?

If you’ve gone to high rate then it works out they ow you £2022.66 for 6 months of backdating, the amount they’ve said they’ve already paid would be from the low / middle rate they have already paid in previous monthly awards

So what is the £5817 that's pending in my bank account for tommorow

Oh 😵‍💫 I thought they had taken off money before sending you money! Yes definitely ask what’s going on, I’ve gone from MRC to HRC and should only be owed £2700 for 8 months, even 7 months worth of full high rate elements don’t even come to that. I wonder if the payment team has sent the wrong amount without taking off the deductions.

Or is it possible they’ve sent your uc payment with the backpay if your due a payment on Friday
