Has anyone had a phone call saying they are starting to process their claim? Never had this before. We’re NC - SD 10/12, so like 2 weeks ago. They didn’t really say anything else just that they hope to get it sorted by the new year.

I didn't get a call text or anything just recieved the money in my bank on the 19th and a letter today, scan date was 20/11 so they are getting through them very quickly

Glad they have your evidence I don’t understand how they are breezing through other peoples and your still waiting do you think they are doing both together or something cause its for the twins hopefully not too long now 🤞🏾 x

It is upsetting that its taking so long and i feel as though im never going to get an answer! They do twins together and have to go to same dm but i dont see why it should take 14 weeks longer then most claims! Thank you i hope i hear soon xc

So after calling them last week, they said case manager would respond by 6pm yest, I had snarky response from an lady (just says agent) saying will get letter when back pay issued. Since that zero! So not expecting anytime soon either :-/

I’ve just called to ask if there’s any update, 24/06 over the phone MR. She said it wasn’t with a case manager yet but she would email the MR team as it should be with a decision maker by now. Fingers crossed. I just wanted to know before Xmas as I’m so stressed with it all xx

Mine is MR s/d 02/06 they keep telling me don’t call again and it’s still not allocated 🙄

It’s terrible telling you that, the longer it goes on the more we’re going to worry and question it. Mine was just in holding queue last week and she said she doesn’t understand why it’s not sorted yet as it should be.

They confirmed it was with a decision maker on Friday but still nothing, I bet loads of them have broken up for Christmas already.

Yes and the thing is they won’t give a clear answer.

My S/d is 27/6 and had a missed call from DWP so called back and was told wasn't us that called so stop calling we'll let you know when a decision has been made, I asked if it was likely to be this year and was told it will be made when its made. Think they've given up being pleasant!

Hi has anyone had their claim been marked as an urgent priority and for a decision maker to pick it up as soon as possible. Did you get a decision after that pretty quick? I just rang and was told i shouldnt be waiting as long as i am when they are on november/december for NCs.

They’ve neglected the older claims it’s shocking. I would be furious. I felt guilt that I’ve had two done before your decision when yours was months earlier. X

He told me im not stuck in the backlog as ncs after july are not in the backlog so he doesnt understand why its taking so long. Dont feel bad its not your fault, its just very disheartening and frustrating waiting. Im happy both your children have been awarded Xx

They verified it on 1st December, I haven’t received the letter saying they are going to backdate it yet, it was marked as urgent on 11th after complaining but clearly there’s nothing urgent about it 🤦‍♀️

When I did my daughter a few years back it was marked as urgent under special circumstances and I received a decision in a few days

We were verified week after you and had dm letter the 15th but thats it!
Awaiting back payment letter now but wont hold my breath now

I’ve never known it to take that long after you’ve received a letter from the dm, with my children’s it’s been done the day after 😵‍💫 unless they’ve taken leave over Christmas
