They know as a general rule if it’s backdate Dla due to whatever reason it’ll be accepted so why not just ask for an upload of the letter with dates and click a button to back pay. It’s crazy

So it took almost 2 weeks after change 2 verify, a week after that 4 accepting of reason 4 change now nothing

hi everyone am having trouble with UC verifying my daughter they have sent me a message on my Jornal saying I need to put different dates in anybody else had this and also do I need to change anything on my other kids but they haven’t changed I’m totally confused thanks if anyone can help x

Omg £700 that is a lot!!! It’s actually disgusting that things for Sen kids are super pricey it’s a Pisstake slap sensory in front of something charge stupid amounts I don’t think you will be waiting much longer if deffo call them today or tomorrow hopefully they have made a decision for you I sent off mr documents yesterday signed for any my daughters new claim so let’s see how long this all takes again fingers crossed for us all x

I rang this morning and was told they have completely took the time frames away and can’t tell anyone any time frames.

I put my award in to my uc 2nd January theve only just verified her yesterday wrote in for backdate of carers element yesterday no message back so wrote the same again today still no reply there time frames are ridiculous atm

Just called for an update nc sd 1/10 and nothing not even with a dm. I dont understand how loads are getting done from dates after and why they can't just fo them in order its a joke. Would be soo much easier if you could do everything online. Anyone else still waiting on nc

I know its disgusting, everything for SEN children is so expensive. I really hope im not waiting much longer, i rang yesterday to ask if i had time to send off the documents id recieved and he told me i had to get it in ASAP preferably within 48 hours as i should be getting a decision within the next week. But if its not done by christmas it will be the week after christmas. I would love for it to be done before, but for me i reckon it will be after.
Oh thats good at least your getting the ball rolling with your MR you will have to let me know the outcome. Il be on here for a while with my MR and COC anyway haha. What scan date is your NC? Xx

Mr is 12/06 for my daughter nothing yet. I’ve seen some this week from late May - end of June get awarded so some time around there

Honestly its the worst thing all the waiting. I waited for my other sons for about 25 weeks. Im also waiting on a renewal that ends 26thfeb but sent forms back 8th oct. Let me know if you hear anything. Was hoping for before Christmas to actually breath for a minute lol

The waiting is horrible, and its the not knowing if they are going to be accepted or not especially if you know they should be entitled to it. I waited 5 months for my other daughter at the beginning of this year for her to be declined but ive done a MR with a lot more evidence now.
Your renewal will probably be done just before his award is supposed to end. But i will let you know i was hoping before christmas. When i rang yesterday i was told it is very close and to send my evidence within 48 hours and i should recieve my decision within a week. If not will be week after christmas but im thinking will be after. But as soon as i hear anything i will let you know xx

I rang up as it was getting me confused they helped over the phone but still have to wait for it to be verified do you have to ask for the additional elements or do they automatically do it x

I only waited 10 days last year for my oldest that was including backdating took them 2 weeks to verify my youngest I hate it make me anxious fingers crossed for you hun x

Ooo that sounds good tbh I hope they have made the decision this week and ur paid Christmas Eve or something at least you know it’s closer to coming anyway and yes I wrote in the notes that I don’t think anyone has even looked at anything properly or even at all and they haven’t even contacted my sons nursery so you made a decision off of what exactly 😭well I sent it for next day delivery and I am going to check if it’s been signed for after I been thru this thread I will call Monday to make sure they have it lol x

Im going to call tomorrow and see if wvidence has got there and see if a decision has been made but i do very much doubt it xx
