Still waiting :-/

I’m still waiting to despite making a complaint last week, I’ve sent message on my journal today and yesterday but nothing still. It’s just over 5 weeks now since I notified them she’s gone to high rate care 🤦‍♀️

@Red1991

everything crossed for you girl hope it’s good news, honestly if they refuse it I’m still going to appeal which would mean tribunal right? And that can take some time so hopefully I would have enough evidence in that time as of now the ehcp is about the only worth evidence I have I got a text today saying they received my new claim and can take 25 weeks lol so I’m guess nc sd 19/12 x

It was sent to a decision maker as urgent 8 days ago 🤦‍♀️ I haven’t called but if they don’t reply to my message today I’m going to call before they close later, we have a certain time scale to send them things so they should have a certain time scale to complete the backpay

Well i rang and still nothing and my evidence hadnt been scanned onto system so will wait til tuesday to ring.
You definitely should i will be doing same if my MR gets rejected i dont see how but knowing my luck it will. Id just gather all the evidence you can even if its a small piece of evidence and make sure you keep copies just in case.
At least its scanned onto system, the way new claims are going at the moment theres no way you will be waiting 25 weeks. It wouldnt suprise me if you get a decision before me. What gets me is i wasnt even caught in the backlog so i dont understand why im on week 17. Xx

That’s a myth the haven’t scanned your evidence yet would it be worth you sending it again maybe they will receive it quicker? Yes that’s what I’m going to try do I need to make go appointment for him aswel so I will see if they have anything useful for me, hopefully come next year it will be a lot smother with waiting they need to do online portal for us to log queries an track the process!! Well I’ve seen peoples new claims get done in 4-6 weeks after September times a shame there is no one to complain to so your case is escalated x

Emsychap · 19/12/2025 17:17

I’m crying! I’ve £1,168 pending for Tuesday so that a MRC to HRC!

ive been so stressed about money as we got to Disneyland on Tuesday and being self employed I’ve had clients cancelling all over the place due to illness but I can breathe now.

Hope everyone hears soon!

ps my MR was sent 12/06

i didn’t have a call from anyone either and only sent sleep diary and a letter from a therapist she’d been seeming at school .

Tirednamechange · 19/12/2025 17:55

I phoned today in desperate hope they could tell me which of my forms has been scanned so I know which im going to have to redo but still nothing scanned yet. I'm still silently praying they both actually got delivered

It’s with a decision maker and they will update me on the journal once it’s completed, they can’t give out time scales of how long it will be 🤦‍♀️

I might call on monday and see if they have scanned it onto the system and if not il send it off again.
You should definitely do that as it will help you out alot. Oh and i fully agree with you they should definitely have an online portal as it would save them so much time. I know ive seen some done in like 3 weeks. But i dont think thats fair on the people waiting on COC and MR and i believe all claims should be done in date order xx

Thank you first time claiming so its hard to work out! No text or anything, just checked my bank this morning and saw the payment - was shocked to say the least at how quick it was and I only received my daughters birth certificate back this week!
Fingers crossed you can get it sent in time they seem to be flying through NC atm xx

My other daughter claim was done just under 5 weeks so I'm hoping it's as fast! I had to do a MR from my daughter due to not bakcdating it to the date of the form. I was happy with the rates just not backdated it at all which wasn't fair as I explained the reason etc. I just worked it out and it does look like you have received MR care with no mobility. I would ring them in the morning xx

Oh definitely worth the MR! Fingers crossed yours is just as quick.
Yeah ill give them a call, definitely sounds like middle rate which im happy with. I was hoping she would get at least low rate mobility too with all the evidence sent but happy shes getting something xx

How old is she? Usually they do give LM at least but can struggle if they young. Good luck xxx

She just turned 3 a couple of weeks after sending the forms so that does makes sense! Part of me did think her age may come into it as she may progress more as she gets older- very hard to see it in the moment when you live through the difficulties everyday though 😫 xx

Yea that's exactly it! My sister was same even did MR, had no luck, she's now 6 and she's just renewed and got HR care and LM. Previously was just MR care, I think a lot goes on age xx

Crazy isn't it. Don't get me wrong I hope that things do drastically change as she gets older absolutely - crossing everything that it does especially with the amount of professionals involved with helping her now, but it doesn't help us right now.. i dont think I have it in me to do a MR though especially if the odds are for it to be declined xx

Mumof3b · 21/12/2025 13:30

My son has been awarded, he got MRC and nothing for mobility. I thought he would of at least got LRM as he tires very easily and it can be a struggle for him but at least it’s something.

Are you a NC or MR? and what was your scan date?
And glad you got your decision x
