What was your scan date for NC? Mines the 27/08

Hello how long are MR taking at the moment? Anyone put one in recently? How long did it take? My scan date was 12/11 I know it’s not gonna be yet just wondering on time scales

Oh that’s a long time. I was told on the phone all ones after September are getting dealt with fast to stop the backlog. I got her decision is 5 weeks from the scan date they just didn’t backdate even through I written on form why form was late.

Is yours a MH? When did you put it in x

Think they are being dealt with quicker if you’ve done it recently but people are still waiting from May so they are taking up to 30 weeks X

Yeah I was told on the phone they have extra staff who are going through claims from sep onwards so they don’t end up with even bigger back log x

I did my daughter NC 25/09 and had a decision exactly 4 weeks and 5 days after. I’m happy with what she got just not the date they backdated it from xx

This system is just so unfair. I waited six whole months on a NC and got declined and have now waited five and counting months for MR. I always seem to be back of the pile!

the additional staff should help with the backlog instead of dealing with newer ones. I want to scream!

sorry rant over it’s just been almost a year of this and I’m so fed up.

Been told today my nc going from the sd 27/10 as I got the signed declaration back in time that’s twice I’ve been told 2 different things apparently my nc in is in a dm que

I just phoned up out of frustration and it’s with a case manager (the person who makes the decision in MRs) but no notes made yet so it’s still waiting to be looked at.
No time length given to how long it may take.

Your rant is justified lol mine is the same waited months to be declined for a new claim now been waiting since June for an MR I just want to get the outcome if it doesn’t go in my sons favour I’m going to get even more evidence and do a fresh new claim I haven’t got it in me to go to tribunal 😩 the system needs a whole new update and better way of clearing through all the claims

What date is your MR if you don’t mind me asking

It’s june so the fact people are waiting from May still made me rage call them. I don’t know why I bothered because I remember from my new claim they would tell ya a different thing every time you called. Mine went from being with a decision maker, to not about three times haha!

I believe all old claim are already piled on a desk. New ones are going to another to prevent the backlog if they did old ones it would create further backlog. I agree though they should come first. My sons was 6 months when I did

I think i put my mr at beginning of august from what i remember as i have a COC and keep getting the dates mixed up lol

I think your right to rant, its is completely frustrating. I always seem to be at the back of the pile too!
I also think they should use the new workers to work on MR and COC. Im 14 weeks into NC still not with a DM. Plus a MR and COC and it will be a year for my MR beginning of feb.
So i understand your frustration it is horrible and it is totally unfair. The system is fudged.

I called today my MR is 30th May and still not with decision maker 😕 it's been almost a year as I applied last December

Your rant is 100% justified🥹 i done an NC September last year and got decision in March, done an Mr 19/03 for late evidence and they sent the Mr to COC team on 06/05 and I’m still waiting because they didn’t tell me to fill a COC form out until last week and I’ve called multiple times since May but they said I shouldn’t be waiting much longer. Ive tried to put it at the back of my mind and just get in with things with Christmas coming but it’s such a stress and I’m just hoping it’s done before so I can have a stress free Christmas🙈 finger crossed you hear soon X
