Hi NC. I sent form 25th Nov next day delivery. I got a text 26th Nov saying they've received my form. Is this the scan date or will I get another date for scan date? Thanks and good luck to everyone whether NC, MR or COC x

Yes 26th November would be your scan date, when it’s sent next day delivery the scan date is the day they receive it.

When dd you report change?

I’m still waiting for mine to be verified, at 2 weeks they tried to verify it but I had made a error so I had to start the change all over again 😞

Also wondering about MRs I’m 20/06 so I think I’ve still got a while. This is just ridiculous how long it takes this is a year now in total since I started the process.

I’m 24/06 but did mine over the phone. It’s completely ridiculous isn’t it esp when NC are being done within weeks.

Thank you for this. Any idea roughly how long NC are taking at the moment, probably not the best time to put in a NC as December and January are probably understaffed.

Was his MR a straight decline?

No his son has been awarded same as my boy, MRC + LRM backdated to his original claim date last December.
Perfect timing as he has a big trip next week for both his boys due to them possibly having a rare genetic condition. He has time to get extra supplies to keep his boys entertained on the 2+ hour journey there, during the appointment and the 2+ hour journey home.

Yes definitely keep the hope.
If my guess is correct they are working 26-28 weeks on MRs so should be sometime in either December or early January at the latest you hear.

The wait times are definitely stressful. I'm glad my sons was quite quick simply because currently waiting for my daughters PIP, her forms were sent back about 2 weeks before my sons with a lot more evidence (OT assessments etc). We know its with the assessment company for our area, have called and requested face to face assessment so they can actually see my girl and how she's struggling. A health professional has been looking at her claim for over a month now with no assessment set yet.
So definitely not just DLA making people wait.
Good luck all who are waiting!

I sent mine 15/11 and didn’t receive a text or anything to say they had received them, I rung them on 21/11 and they said they had received them 17/11 and they was all scanned on and in the queue so don’t know what my scan date would be.

17/11 would be you scan date. It goes from the date they recieve them and they are scanned onto the system 😀

The waiting gets to me, then I remember that this week I have a huge list of things like appointments to go to and I mostly forget til the weekend.

1st week of December is always a timetable game of tetris that leaves me with just enough energy to bake something yummy for my birthday at the start of the second week.
Burnout will be very real but also leave me with no mental space to worry about anything else.
I hope you hear back about all your kids claims soon 💝
