Yeap the dreaded wait is enough to go crazy, I really wish there was some way they could keep us more up to date with processing time, I really hope you aren’t waiting too much longer, have everything crossed for you. I have more faith in my sons renewal getting processed before the COC, if I knew the backlog I think I would of just left the COC and submitted the renewal. X

Thank you🤞🏽 only good thing is you’ll get the COC backdated if it’s awarded, good luck X

absolute joke, I’ve never heard them ask for more evidence, I thought they just make a decision with what you send🤷🏽‍♀️ can takes weeks to receive their letters too or you don’t receive them at all, you would think they would call you if they needed information X

That’s what I said why not ring me and ask? They’ve asked for his ehcp (which I already sent) and ‘reports’ I have sent all I have he doesn’t see anybody his consultant rings once a year and he’s on a 3 year waiting lists for Cyps! He’s in a special school so was taken off OT list ect

Mumma123455 · 27/11/2025 11:03

They kept him at the same rate as there’s apparently no evidence. So will be taking to tribunal now

I feel your pain , we remained the same after a 28 week 5 day wait. Waiting for letter then doing MR...did you do MR and they said no ?

Ncheetham01 · 27/11/2025 13:31

Just phoned we are on 8 weeks NC. The lady said they are getting high volume of new claims and can not give any time scale. Also waiting on other sons renewal due 12th Feb sent forms back 7th Oct and just stated if no decision by claim end date then to call. Why is this so random on how long they take. Would be sooo much easier if they had an online system to track everything and to upload evidence .

Mumma123455 · 27/11/2025 13:35

Yeah it was an mr but no change so going to take it to tribunal now not giving up on what my boy deserves x

Is yours finally with one🤞🏽😊 from what I’ve seen on here it could the same day or within a couple days if they have everything they need to make the decision but it can take a few weeks if they have to contact professionals or schools and have to wait on them getting back to them X

Princessmom222 · 26/11/2025 19:34

Oohhh this is making me hopeful that mine should be done soon then too! Im the day before you, but i rang today to say they should get new evidence tomorrow! Im going to ring friday to make sure it got there. Please keep my informed xx

Hi just an update I’ve rang today using option 4 and they have said they can’t verify my daughter that’s why it’s taking a long time so I’ve verified it with the letters and reports I’ve sent along with the claim so she’s told me she’s sent it back to the DM with a note and she’s told me to also take the birth certificate to my local job centre and they can scan it into the system instead of me posting it wish they would of told me this weeks ago instead of saying it’s sorted then with a dm.

When i was verifying my twins, they told me to do this. I went to the job centre and told me that they cant scan it onto the system. They can take copys of birth certificates and sign them but you still have to send them off. I still have my twins, but they said they managed to verify them and not to send birth certificate off. Now i feel like ringing to make sure they are verified but mines still not with a dm.
I would go to job centre and get them scanned and signed and send them off to dla 24hour tracked. Xx

Did you manage to find out I wish they would just have a proper look when you call rather then waiting longer for something to be done.

Also wondering about MRs I’m 20/06 so I think I’ve still got a while. This is just ridiculous how long it takes this is a year now in total since I started the process.

T773 · 29/11/2025 10:44

Hi NC. I sent form 25th Nov next day delivery. I got a text 26th Nov saying they've received my form. Is this the scan date or will I get another date for scan date? Thanks and good luck to everyone whether NC, MR or COC x
