When i called last week was told my evidence (3rd or 4th lot of extra) had been scanned and was in a queue for a dm... so im assuming I have least 8 weeks still :-(
Your the only april date I remember although not seeing many coc on the fb page

I’ve sent loads too, it’s this wait time more and more evidence keeps coming so I send it in, I bet they’ve got a massive pile for me 😂 my daughter will be prescribed melatonin soon but probably not in time to send in but the paediatrician in august has put all about it in her report so I’m hoping that will be enough. There is 3 Aprils on here now one of them is the day after me, I can’t believe a end of May was done today and a September yesterday, it’s all over the place with some COC.

Emzi538 · 15/10/2025 19:27

Ours are mainly new epilepsy care plans, new medications and the report today is explaining the referral 2 evalina and the fact he is also photosensitive epileptic :-/

Is it just us still waiting on here for COC from April and May? I’ve seen a few may on FB over the last couple days but not any April’s, Im going to call on Friday to see what they say X

PositivityRipples · 15/10/2025 19:30

@Daryl54 Its totally normal for nearly all MR to be referred to the DWP healthcare professionals, it's basically just an internal form that's emailed to an internal healthcare professional and the DM ask them specific questions as DMs aren't medically trained, mine probably went to them before DM called and yours has gone to them after they've called you, they don't usually tell you over the phone if its gone to medical team and it don't actually mean the dwp healthcare professionals look over your whole claim just means the DM has a medical question to ask them to be able to award rates. It's just internal documents really. You should hear back really soon and it's by no means a negative as i say nearly all MR go through the dwp healthcare professionals with specific questions, mainly the ones looking at HRM but HRC too 💫

I’m 30 weeks on the 2nd December so I’m hoping it’s done by then before the Christmas holidays start😬 I’m 06/05 but not seen any COC awarded that are the beginning of May/very end of April, it’s either beginning of April or middle/end of May I keep seeing X

Its frustrating the wait, esp as they give you 4 weeks from requesting the forms to send them back!

No there is @Harrysmummy2016 in March 30 weeks with dm, then me, @Ll333 and @Mammyof2EZ in April and then I think just you 3 in May. It seems there is less and less COC now waiting though

Yeah I’m 23/04 called last week he said they’re on end Feb so loads of time to send evidence! I said well some have been done from May and he seemed to think that was only if they were due a renewal as well, I’m not sure

It seems to be the middle of each month being done first then the last week and first week of the month seem to be much longer if that makes sense🤷🏽‍♀️😂 very odd or I'm just overthinking and trying to find a reason why things are all over the place and to why some are getting decisions 2 months before others that have been waiting long enough (not that I’m not happy for people getting awarded) but this backlog doesn’t seem to be going down for COC and MR X

Oh god, 2 birthdays the month of Christmas, me and my brother are the same, he’s the 9th and I’m the 14th😂 we hated it being close to Christmas as kids but now I book a weekend away with my parents, sibling's and my little boy and it’s nice and Christmasy☺️ fingers crossed you get awarded before then🤞🏽X

Emzi538 · 15/10/2025 22:39

I meant 30 weeks not 20 lol
My best friends is the 7th lol
Hope we all hear v v soon 🙏

if people are still waiting from February then they are defo going over 30 weeks for some🙈 i seen someone on FB say that they got awarded last week at 20 weeks and their friend awarded at 21 weeks , could be the area they live in going quicker if that’s a thing?🤷🏽‍♀️

At this point I’m confused 😵‍💫 I thought it was just mobility getting decisions early but yesterday proved me wrong with the end of May for both care and mobility. Have you seen any end of March beginning of Aprils still waiting on FB?

Emzi538 · 16/10/2025 08:06

Yeah quite a few :-/
So defo not in order

On FB the last couple days I’ve seen
17th March decision made last week
19th March not with a DM yet
17th April not with a DM yet
13th May decision made last week
19th May decision made last Wednesday
2X 23rd may decision made last week
16th may decision made last week
there’s a good few still waiting from from end of March to beginning of April X

Not that this is any help to anyone to see where they are at cause it’s all over the place and 2 months between the dates decisions are being made😬X

This honestly confuses me so much, I don't understand how they can get away with all of those different dates and leaving others to just wait without any kind of update, its just a joke.
I was 30 weeks yesterday and it went to a DM yesterday, but I'm worried that they will just reject it because they ran out of time to look at it properly. I asked how long it can be with a DM and she said they can't give a timeline, but someone else told me once its with one, they can say when they have till to give you a decision

I think dm take a few files at a time so could still be poss two week wait :-/
But everyone is speaking to tells you different things!
Last call handler i spoke 2 last week told me not to call again til after 30 weeks but likely will be nearer 40 weeks! And that its royal mail who scanned all evidence etc ... who knows they need a online system so we can check without the calls we all have enough to manage without chasing for what our children are entitled to
