Hi I rang still no decision been with DM since Monday xxx

I hope so but I honestly don't have much hope. I feel a bit deflated that everyone around me is just having their decision and I've heard nothing. I've got my phone at my desk incase they call, but had nothing so far

The wait must be awful for you, especially knowing its with the DM and they've called you, i know sometimes if they are unsure between rates and especially for HRM they do ask the internal medical professionals questions and the delay is getting an anwser from them. Fingers crossed its sorted before friday for you 🤞🏼

@Harrysmummy2016 it’s for MR decision maker rang me Monday still no decision and 27 weeks 😢 and thankyou @PositivityRipples it’s gave me really bad anxiety 😥 do you know how long they stay with a DM for I sent loads of evidence and the phone call went really well too I answered everything and told her bits too. Just a worry if it’s a decline after this long wait. I thought I would’ve had a decision by now xxx

How long are renewals

I'm not to sure as some cases could be with a DM a few days and some could be a few weeks it depends on lots of things and it doesn't mean its bad news if the DM takes a little longer it could be something really simple like the DM only works Monday and friday or has taken a few days sick or just needs one anwser in the internal process, plus DM could have made a decision an hour ago or later on today.. Its just a guessing game really, what rates have you asked for? Did the DM give you any indication at all?

@PositivityRipples I didn’t really ask for rates to be honest I would just to love have back what he lost which was hrc. Everything sounded really positive like and she was looking at the evidence and she said she gonna assess it. Ask me bout his needs and mobility That was Monday dinner time. And we were on phone bout 10-15 mins she said at end call how are you handling a large sum money and are your bank details still the same but now am unsure with not having the decision yet xxx

Oh yes sorry i remember now they have dropped your childs rates down at renewal hadn't they and you wanted the rates back as that's what your child qualifies for, it is really hard to say isn't it, I'd just call at 4pm every day option 4 and ask, the DM didn't ask me my bank details or about large amount of money, she just said okay so im going to award HR for care and LR for mobility and i was trying to not scream down the phone and was like "ok that's great news that he's been awarded what hes entitled to" cause to be fair we are all like yayyy as if they are doing us a favour and they aren't they are doing their job and awarding what a child is legally entitled to in this country but because the system is floored and they dont award the correct rates we feel lucky to be awarded correct rates which shouldn't be the case.
I knew my child was entitled to HRC and LRM when i applied and they awarded LRC only and now a MR and a new DM has decided oh yes lets award HRC and LRM how did the original DM get it so wrong and why are they allowed to get it so wrong 😔

Thankyou @PositivityRipples I might phone again at 4 pm today as am in work 9-6 tommorow haha am so made up for you ❤️ will they know I have rang twice in one day haha 😛 I just really want to know now to be honest even if my anxiety is high I think cuz of the long wait and after a MR it will be tribunal next stage isn’t it just all so stressful xxx

They don't always update the computer when you call, they only write notes if you've said you are sending evidence or you had specific questions, some may update the system to say claimant called for update ect.. To be honest it don't really matter what the call handlers think or feel its there job to answer the calls, just call at 4pm and ask for an update as DM called you at beginning of the week and just get an update. Sod them if it lessens your anxiety then do you 😘🙏

My SC for COC was 12/05. I know there’s some people before me still waiting. But DLA claim it’s done in date order which it clearly isn’t. Such a long wait! I hope you get your answers soon xx

We requested a MR with a scan date on the 03/04. I've just been told a decision was made yesterday and a letter sent out but it's not been uploaded onto the system yet. Will it have been uploaded tomorrow does anyone know? Our post can take forever and after nearly 28 weeks I just really want to know

Also they didn't call me or the school to clarify anything, is that a good or bad sign? I'm hoping I set everything out really clearly for how my daughter meets hrm against their guidelines (already awarded HRC and lrm). I sent evidence and a written submission from her school, and gave multiple examples from home, but given a decision was made within a day (it wasn't with a DM on Monday) and they didn't call us I'm worried they've not even considered it
