So called up this morning just after 9 to be told something completely different. On friday my son’s forms were with the 'DM' and now been told no they aren't, they are still in the 'holding queue'.
Don't know who to believe at this point 😕

That’s so confusing! I wish they would stick to what they say! There is so many that say it’s not with a dm when it is so I wouldn’t worry to much, your 30 weeks tomorrow aren’t you? So it’s surely got to be any time now.

Emzi538 · 13/10/2025 12:49

Curlycookie5 · 13/10/2025 10:50

Will you be calling this weeks? I would imagine they would have made your decision this week sometime, the scan date before yours was with dm last week so you’ve got to be next?

Hey
Do you know what the stages are for coc?

Princessmom222 · 13/10/2025 13:15

WaryPoet · 13/10/2025 10:58

Ah, I didnt know that twins were treat differently! Seems unfair!

I have a friend who's NC so was 05/08 and she was given her award nearly a fortnight ago now, so hoping im not too much longer!

Fingers crossed for you too!

Its just that twins have to go to the twin team and have to be looked at by the same decision maker!

I seen a new claim on here i believe was a day before ours awarded last week! Also my cousin who is the 29th was awarded to for her son.
So your shouldnt be much longer. Hopefully!

Thank you i appreciate it!

If there is 2 coc on here that’s 30 weeks tomorrow and both is with the dm since last week I can’t see as it’s now moved to 32weeks 😵‍💫 I hope not anyway! I hate this wait 😞 and im only 27 weeks tomorrow

Its the not knowing that is getting to me, if they said it'll be with a DM by such and such date, I'd be ok, but to just be told its in a queue is so frustrating. I've seen on FB other people have had their decisions at 20 and 21 weeks

Daryl54 · 13/10/2025 13:24

Hi all decision maker rang me MR scan date 04/04 she was really lovely so when do you think decision will be made xxx

I’m not sure, but I do wonder if the wait times will come down abit soon because the March dates are nearly finished and the end of March was done a while back. I would normally call on a Monday but I’m going to hold off til next week once the rest of March has been done.

Was your MR following a NC that was turned down? My scan date was 02/04 and nothing as of yet 🥲

I know I would sooner have a certain date they need to tell us by and have a decision on that date, I was going to call this morning but there isn’t any point with you still waiting in March. You must be so frustrated all the mobility claims getting done so early, I don’t know why they don’t just keep it in date order it’s the fairest way to do it

My friend had a call from a dm a while back and she called later on that day and a decision had been made

I got hopeful when I was told in queue for dm, but im not expecting to hear for weeks yet, I will call from 25 weeks but keep here lol

Hi ladies and gents. Has any new claims been awarded? I’ve seen a fair few for August in here and also quite a lot from the end of August on Facebook. My scan date was 22/8 still not heard a peep. No letter or no text. I did ring a while ago to see if they’ve received the evidence I sent which they did and she asked me some details over the phone and said she would register the claim there and then. Does anybody know what “registering the claim” means? X

nc 30/07 and not heard anything either

Hey
Do you know what the stages are for coc?

I seen on FB 2 people awarded at 20 weeks, 1 at 21 weeks and 1 at 29 weeks🙈 For it to be whoever’s desk it lands on is how you get your decision is a joke , a 2 months difference between award dates🤷🏽‍♀️. How do they get a backlog down if they aren’t prioritising the people waiting longer than the normally 15 weeks timescale😬

LoudAquaViper · 13/10/2025 14:15

25 weeks for MR tomorrow, called today and still not with anyone yet 😩 from a straight decline from our NC back in December I think we’re around 43 weeks in total waiting now

I saw this as well, I'm so happy for people getting their decision, but I'm so frustrated with DWP because its so unfair to have to wait 30 weeks and get no update, you literally sit each day and wonder if today will be the day you hear anything

Its frustrating, all I know is in a queue for dm but we only 21wks but is for both

Im happy for kids getting what they deserve don’t get me wrong but we can also be frustrated at the fact that kids that are already classed as disabled/needing more care have to wait 30 weeks of not knowing anything and could possibly be declined and have to do this wait all over again😭 a good few people on here have been on here as long as me that had NC from September/october last year and we are still on here after already waiting 25/30 weeks for our new claims, I done a MR in March sent of extra evidence and medication then got a letter 8 weeks later saying it was more of a COC so Ill have waited the best part of 40 weeks for a decision if i have to wait 30 weeks from the COC SD🙈 What’s your SD and are you mobility or cars?X

Do you think it’s worth giving DLA a call nc 30/7 I’ve not called them before as it’s just over 10 weeks so still in the time frame and the text said up to 25 weeks I’m pretty sure
