Mine was 11.03 and got declined

I'm really starting to feel like anyone who has been left to wait, is just going to be declined, so many people have been awarded that are after us and not had to wait as long. I'm so sorry you got declined

Harrysmummy2016 · 07/10/2025 12:53

@curlycookie5 Have you had anything yet? Is anyone near 19.03 that has had a decision yet?

Nope nothing but I’m only 26 weeks today, I think everyone is going to be waiting the full 30 weeks now 😞 it’s taking forever!

Mine was literally day before 30 weeks, gutted now another 30 weeks with a MR. Fingers crossed you get the answer you want x

I think it depends whose desk it lands on. I actually got to speak to a caseworker last month who was very nice and I genuinely do believe what they tell me. Obviously not done in date Order, but they must have a system to get through the backlog. It can’t just be random 💜

The claims are issued out to dms in date order, BUT a dm who is working over time is gling to gst through their pile so much quicker than the DM whos went on 2 weeks annual leave. Thats where the discrepancies in dates comes from

Emmy990 · 07/10/2025 14:58

mine was SD 04/03 and was awarded on the 26th sept (30weeks) and went form MRC&LRM to HRC&LRM x

Thanks … I think the wait for everybody feels a long time. But they definitely got to have a system otherwise it wouldn’t get done at all. I’m just impatient.💜

17/3 COC rang yesterday told no time frame and it’s not been allocated to anyone. They also sent out our renewal paperwork due December in case no change. Can’t wait for more waiting 🤣 it’s laugh or cry

I guess I've done something wrong with my claim or maybe it's a decline. Other claims are 10 weeks after. It's upsetting because it took me months to fill in the forms in the first place.

I don’t think you have done anything wrong. Previous posters on here have said that new claims from July onwards are being processed quickly, but seen as you were June I’m going to assume you’re still in the backlog pile? So the 15-25 weeks timeframe they give to us all may be correct for your claim. But if you’re awarded you’ll get it all in back pay. Don’t give up hope.

KellyBub · 07/10/2025 16:02

MR for NC 2/04 still not assigned, school etc however didn’t complete their documents in time so they have them to review for the MR now, hopefully that makes a difference! We’ve had a few professional refferals lately too so I’m somewhat thankful I’ve still got time to send extra evidence off now 😅

Curlycookie5 · 07/10/2025 16:03

I’m wondering if the wait times for COC will go down to 28 weeks once the rest of March has been done seen as they did the end of March a while ago 🤔

Minigems258 · 07/10/2025 16:05

A decision has been made on my MR 01.04. on hold now waiting to hear if I've been successful 🙏🏼

I should think you will hear something by next week hopefully good news so you won’t have to do the renewal and wait all over again, if it was to be bad news do a MR because your renewal and MR would be done together and you would still get the back pay.

I heard back from a case worker from my local MP today who took mine and my daughters details and has emailed DWP about wait times for COC. I doubt anything will come of it but it’s something at least

I’m 8/4, as far as I’m aware on here there is only 10-19 March left to do and they are all 29-30 weeks so should hear something soon, the later dates in March was done so hopefully that mean they will be onto April 🤞

I seen one on FB today with a May SD they where awarded HRC HRM X

Coc question for you all.
I called 14.04 to inform about new care needs, anyway they sent me a form to complete. I was told to get it back in by 14.05 so I did and scan date is 09.05. If awarded anything will they go from April or May ? And do I count wait times from Notification date or scan date ? Thanks x

My friend told me about this one, they was awarded HRM at 21 weeks, so now get HRC and HRM until 2032 or something like that. It’s beginning to look like if you’ve done a COC for just mobility you get the decision at 21 weeks but if you’ve done a COC for care and mobility it’s taking 30 weeks

You would be backdated to the date you called for forms but your wait time starts from your scan date. Are you doing a COC for mobility or both?

Yeah that’s the one, I’ve just done mine for care so god knows🙈 My mum is on fb and she’s been keeping me updated on what’s on there but even she’s like no wonder there is a backlog if they are giving new claims decisions in 7 weeks and waiting until 30 weeks for MR and COC😂 feel like a broken record but hopefully they speed things up for us, would hate to have to do an mr and do this wait again🙄
