It’s been 6 weeks tomorrow since I sent my forms. Scanned in on the 22nd August. I’ve still received no letter or text about them receiving my forms? Anybody else been completely ghosted?

Yes my sd was 27th July and haven't had anything until Saturday I received a letter from 19th Sept saying sorry haven't processed your claim yet it could take up to 15 weeks. I called on Friday to see if with a DM because child now has to have daily injections on top of everything else and wanted to see if worth sending in new diagnosis and impact on care. Not allocated yet.
Some from same week done and paid according to site and FB byt expect child's diagnosis will go to medical team for advice. Long wait for us I think.

Really? It’s ridiculous isn’t it? Why are the initial letters taking so long? I’ve seen quite a few from the end of July be awarded. Doesn’t make sense. I really do think it depends on people’s location.

Daryl54 · 29/09/2025 07:48

Morning everyone still not heard for MR coming up to 26 weeks Friday xx

New claim letters take forever to come, usually by week 8 you will receive it saying your scan date on it, if you haven’t received it soon I would call to make sure they have received your claim form and to find out what your scan date is.

Meli3 · 29/09/2025 08:16

@Jenni20 I didnt get a letter until Saturday morning i had to call them to see if they received my claim we did however get a text

Kirstygingee · 29/09/2025 08:23

Does anyone have any idea when the renewals are done? Sent off in July, dla due to end October, does it continue until theyve made a decision?

Daryl54 · 29/09/2025 09:01

Have you called up today? They don’t usually let them go over 30 weeks so hopefully you hear something this week.

Curlycookie5 · 29/09/2025 09:59

@RiaC @Nags7815 Have you had a decision for your COC yet?

@3isenough8 it’s taking so long isn’t it they just say the same thing every time I ring them hopefully you will hear this week xx

Garfieldthecat · 29/09/2025 11:11

I spoke with a lovely, helpful guy. He was really informative and sounds like he tries to keep up with the latest info so he can pass it on to callers. He said he thinks they’re currently working on the end of February and mine in still
in a holding queue, so I’m really hoping I hear in the next few weeks.
The backlog is so big now for coc, that they are unable to give timescales. I was chatting about how some people have had decisions and he said that unless there are specific circumstances, it could be that there have been come cases taken from queues for training of new staff, as they are taking on to help with backlog.

5/3 and 6/3? Have had their decision so I don’t think you will be waiting much longer, it sounds like even the most nicest person still won’t give out information on a COC 🤦‍♀️ there is only one scan date left on here before your date now. Good luck 🤞

Sorry that was supposed to be 4/3 and 5/3.

la077 · 29/09/2025 12:11

Has anyone had their MR decision over the phone? They’ve said they can’t give me a decision on the phone but I’m sure I saw a few people get their decision that way

Meli3 · 29/09/2025 12:37

I called them. They made a typo and put 11/7 when it should have been 11/6. They are going to sort it.
