New Thread as previously one nearly full.

Called this morning, claim was disallowed, decision was made July 21st. Person on the phone was shocked I hadn't heard anything before now. Explained how to start MR & that it would be 18-24 weeks 😫

Just had my call from the DM, asked me a few questions about the evidence i sent. She's going to talk to the team & call me back before 12 today. The call seemed quite positive so hoping for the result my daughter deserves.

Has any COC heard anything yet?

If anyone is waiting for COC, my scan date is 14/04/25, they originally said the wait time was 15 weeks, then they said 25 weeks and I called up today to say I will be giving more evidence when his physiotherapist is back off of annual leave in a couple of weeks and they have said they will be no longer giving a wait time for COC/MR as the wait times are too long due to newer applications taking priority.

My daughter has gone from lrc lrm to hrc lrm. The long wait was totally worth to get her what she deserves.

You’re 6 days after me for a COC. I haven’t called to check for an update only change bank details but at that time she said COC was taking 27 weeks, that was a long time ago! There is someone on here that would have been 28 weeks on Monday but they haven’t joined this new thread so I’m not sure if they have had their decision or not. I’m going to TRY holding out to 28 weeks and then call it doesn’t seem we will get much luck until then.

I’ve only seen one COC done in the past 2 weeks 😂 I’ve gave up now

I would like to say it’s because there isn’t many coc on here but there is loads Feb to May. Username LouLou was the last COC in January waiting but she’s not joined this chat to know if she’s had a decision. Hopefully once they are back at school the wait times might start coming down.

Advice please.
NC, SD 19/6/25 after forms from january were lost. Have sent evidence previously such as Dr's reports, GP referalls, NDD referals, sleep diary, care diary, Prescription list and summaries of each appointment from the mental health team written by the Mental health nurse. Historic evidence of suspected ASD from Nursery nurse and Health Visitor. Son is now almost 13.
This is part of a 7 page report from clinical lead does any one think it's worth sending as extra evidence or should I wait for further assessment. I would imagine we have a long wait before claim is looked at any way? Any advice welcomed, new to this and for some reason the last few days my anxiety has been rife looking at declines on facebook. TIA x

My scan date is the date they received it, it’s not until 8/4 so yours should be 14/2. I think your the longest wait times for a COC on this thread now. How many weeks are you on?

Hi All just a follow up from my positive post the other day so I received my back payment from DLA on Tuesday called up and was advised my son has been awarded HRC LRM for 2 years.

I reported the change to UC on Tuesday they verified the information today and just got a journal message to say I will recieve my back payment for the disabled child element and carers element this Friday for the amount of £3600 so happy for my son.

I think the whole system is a joke to be honest. The same rule should apply for all. People are receiving texts etc I’ve never received a text. I think if everybody did there would be less phone calls to them. Especially if the kept people updated throughout! It’s not fair having people so anxious like this! People seem to be getting told different things all of the time. To be honest I don’t think they know their head from their arses! I’m a NC sent 7th may. Scan date 16th may. I’ve not heard nothing since my letter saying it will be 15 weeks. And I’m not holding out much hope to be honest. But my son’s behaviour etc is getting worse. So I’m going to feel like a complete failure if he gets refused. I’ve seen loads of posts on here, Reddit and Facebook saying that new claims from may have had a decision made! How can this be????

i have just received a text to say my son qualifies which is such a relief!
I thought he may be declined as I only had sent his referral as evidence(which noted the reasons for referral) for ASD assesment and a statement in the section on the form from his pre school.
I did write the forms very detailed though however.
