I’m 29 weeks today, I’m not even bothering to call

Don’t know why I bother !

Don’t let it put you off, some of them are really nice, I called last week to check evidence was received and she was lovely, went through every bit of evidence to make sure it had all been scanned on too. But these wait times are awful! I’ve never waiting past 18 weeks for anything dla related before so now I’m 19 weeks for coc it still feels like forever before I get a decision.

oh, congratulations! been looking if you've received a decision. did you update UC?

Yes but not sure i.done.it right lol he was awarded hrc and lrm just over 3200 backdated which is life changing for him.x

I'm 28 weeks Friday and still nothing! Xx

Care and mobility sd was 25/3 so wasn't expecting anything till October as I'm only on week 21 waiting 👍🏻

That’s only 2 weeks before me, I wasn’t expecting to hear anything until end of October beginning of November time. But this has given me hope 🤞 Good luck when you find out your decision, will you be calling tomorrow to see if a decision has been made?

the wait is horrendous especially with a decline from the NC. Only 18 weeks into the MR, still long to go by the looks of it but currently waited a total of 8 months from when we sent NC off

Thank you I might well do I did see another coc on face book 26/3 got back payment today so they must be into March now which is promising for everyone else hopefully yours will be done in the next few weeks fingers crossed :)

Hi please can you tell me what is meant by you all when you say scan date? I've received my letter today informing me they received my application on 30 July, and are looking at my information etc. is 30 July my " scan date"?

I messaged them on my journal last 6th and got a reply yesterday saying that it's been referred to a DM. Got a message with letter saying about the decision, but nothing has been said how much or when it will be backdated.

Yes 30th of July will be your scan date and that is where the wait begins. If awarded though money will be backdated to when you called for forms or if you printed them off it will be backed to 30th July.

My scan date was 21st/3 but was awarded from 10/3 that's when I made the call

Do they backdated the carers element also ? And im assuming the disability element also

Yes I put that if they called for forms it would be backdated to when they called but if they printed the forms off and sent it in it would be backed to scan date.

It's an 0800 number they called from 👍🏻

Your about a week or so ahead of me, every time ive rang theyve pushed the wait further and further. Its killing me but its good because ive had so much more evidence
