2 days before mine same nothing apparently there's a huge backlog

Hi so I called today and they said the same to as last week. Not with decision maker and not to contact them as they'll contact us ourselves

It's crazy how some are only waiting a few werks some decision makers must be going faster than others x

I think alot of people are going to be waiting a while now due to school holidays.
So your claim could be with a DM for a while if they are waiting to contact school.
Or if they are waiting to hear back from other health professionals for supporting evidence.

The wait times for everything these days are so long.
Unfortunately their are alot more people needing these services and support and there isn't enough trained staff to deal with the high demands.

Hopefully everyone hears back and gets the outcome they deserve. The wait is a nightmare especially when you have waited 20+weeks to be denied and then have to wait another 20+ weeks.

Exactly they should atleast be able to tell us how much of a backlog there is.

For anyone who’s waiting for a renewal, renewals are being completed just before the end date.

My 4 year old’s renewal was received on the 11/04. Claim ended on 20/07 and it was looked at on the 18/07. She’s gone from MRC to HRC, back pay should be expected soon. Once I receive the letter, I can then update UC.

Didn’t even bother asking about my 3 year old’s MR. Currently on week 21 now (SD 26/02)😴

Been following the threads for forever MR 10th jan 28 weeks friday I phoned this morning and was told its with DM decision is imminent 🙄 I might ring back later to see if there's an update getting so fed up now

Wow 28 weeks! 😩😩😩 I’m on 25 weeks today and I’ve had enough of the wait so can’t imagine how annoyed you are now 😩 when I called mine wasn’t with DM yet so I’m guessing I’ll be waiting a while longer 😩

renewal due 29/06

Any April dates? I sent more evidence today but my SD is 10/4 and I called Friday but was in “holding queue”

I am still waiting for renewal. S/D 02/07 , claimed ended 16/07. Sent close to end date as was awaiting important appointment beginning of the month to update info on claim form (I realised it was a little late but thought they don't do them until closer to the end date anyway) claim ended on 16th.
I have called everyday , been told its with a DM and a priority but still not made a decision yet. My carers allowance has now ended too. Totally stressed , will I now have to reapply for carers allowance if we are awarded again? They said they are doing it as a renewal.

Joining the thread again after a year for DD renewal.. posted today special delivery, anyone know how long renewals are taking now? dd currently receiving HRC so praying they don’t reduce 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just received some further evidence for my DC who needs hooking up to a machine for a sleep study at home and her end of year school report stating that she is very behind in all areas. Is it worth ringing to see where I the claim is at before I send in further evidence or save it for potential MR? My scan date is 11/04

Has anyone sent off a sleep diary? I wrote out a 5 days diary listing the times she wakes in the night, what support and supervision I give, she wakes around 3 times a night and is awake for over an hour.. they awarded hrc before without this evidence so wondering if they are likely to renew it to hrc with this evidence?

I’ve already sent 3 school and nursery reports from the last 3 years, 2 letters from school stating SEN and incontinence, IEP and BEP, Sleep clinic referral, paediatric referrals for bowel and bladder issues, paediatric ASD and ADHD statement and referral, Incontinence plan, blue badge acceptance, Physiotherapy report, my own 14 page statement, Hospital orthoptic reports evidencing rapidly worsening eyesight, developmental delay report, biopsy consent forms. Is there anything else I need? Panicking we will get rejected 😬

Say in the phone for 55 minutes and they hung it up….. guess I’ll try again tomorrow 🫠

@LMIAE im 10/4 and they told me it’s been allocated to someone - I also sent extra evidence off today, if you think it has relevant information sent it special delivery & call them to say you’ve done this! She told me she made a note of extra evidence on way - hope that helps!
