22/04 hopefully being in northern ireland im not waiting much longer, buy they’ve pushed it back every time ive rang. First was 6 weeks then 10, then 15 and now 18 so not holding my breath tbh

Your 2 weeks after me but you will probably hear before me too, I wonder if we will get a phone call from the DM? I’ve seen some people that have applied for Hrm receive calls to help them make their decision, my friend had a call too with her MR about mobility but she used the words refuses and got declined.

I did ring the other day and the woman i spoke to said my number wasnt on file and she would strongly recommend i put it on as DM alot of time likes to phone for clarification on things when doing an MR. So they must do it its its for HRM?

I just had a phone call from a dm saying my daughter has been awarded but said I had to wait for the letter to find out rates

Oh yay! Ring back and do and pick option 4 and they will be able to tell you

Anyone previously done COC, do I just send new evidence with the form ir all my evidence like previously?

You need to ring and request a COC form. Made the mistake of not doing this, they had received the info but because no COC form completed with the evidence, the letter and evidence I sent was just completed.
COC form received with form to request backdate to an earlier date and why? due to evidence being sent earlier.
I only sent the evidence concerning the change.

So I finally got our statement of reasons for why hrm wasn't awarded pretty silly reason so can say why it's not been looked at properly but the thing that's most shocking is that my child was called a different name on the stament of reasons which gives major concern as to where his evidence was mixed up

That’s terrible! Are you going to fight the decision? Did you ask for them to send a statement of reasons of do they send it automatically?

Abwill · 15/08/2025 15:15

Yes it's really silly the reason they didn't award which I can give reason to why it's wrong , but I've mentioned that it's a major concern with wrong naming

They've declined kids HRM for things like 'shows enjoyment watching peppa pig' seen that one on FB and the kid was like 13. They will do anything to not award it. Also seems pretty common for them to put the wrong name on the statement of reasons ect

Abwill · 16/08/2025 12:59

@LocoCoco13 oh God that's terrible, ours is physical rather than SMI x

We were also declined HRM for my 3.5 year old who cant walk at all, all evidence states this too. Currently doing an MR

Abwill · 16/08/2025 13:26

It's very annoying isn't it my son is nearly 8 this was our 3rd renewal and we've always got hrc lrm and that's always been fine but his heart condition has worsened and he has a rare hip abnormality which is being operated on at the end of the month because of the worsening, it will be a very long recovery, so i thought I wanted to make sure what the reasons were accurate to which it wasn't, just very not a relevant reason hopefully we get looked at again properly.
