No it's all worked out she's got hrc and lrm , the 761 is mrc and it is the difference between the 2 rates. I'm still receiving the 2k tomorrow.

That’s brilliant news I thought they changed your award after decision was made, that would have been really bad of them. What sort of claim was yours? For it to be some mrc and some hrc and lrm?

A new claim , it was either a mistake or the decision was changed the agent couldn't say that they changed their mind, but when I calculate the hrc and lrm for 21weeks backdate 761 and 2149 it works out just about right

However when I phoned up weds and asked none of it was mentioned I was only expecting the £2149

MR 7/02
hopefully they catch up with MR as this is so long winded! I got told I should hear back by mid July when I called the other day x

I wouldn't listen to what the call handlers tell you always I was told they were on track for 25 weeks and now on week 28 😂 still as far as I'm aware not with a dm mine was 23/12 24

OneWhoSings · 30/06/2025 12:11

Hi. Joining this thread as am hoping we will have some news soon! (Been stalking a bit lol)
NC SD 27/3 for DD who has rare chromosome condition and many associated things.
Haven’t heard anything recently except for a letter back in May saying 15 weeks x

That’s really strange, I wonder if they sent the wrong payment first then sent a second payment because of the error. Hopefully when the letter comes it will confirm what’s happened.

MR 31/12. So I’ve just called, lady on the phone was lovely but did say MRs are running slightly over 25wks (no s**t Sherlock) she said there is no timescale for a decision and said she couldn’t see which dates they are working on. On the bright side, I was only on the phone for less than 10mins, hardly no waiting time on the phone at least 😂 honestly driving me mad, just want to know either way so I can start arranging the next steps whatever they may be

Sunflower1650 · 30/06/2025 14:03

I’m NC SD 13/03 and I’m just listening to the hold music, going to ask if there’s any update and to check my additional evidence I sent a week ago has been scanned on. I was on hold for 1 hour 11 mins last week and had to give up so I really hope it’s quicker this time.

LLLH · 30/06/2025 14:06

Oooh let me know what they say - I’m SD 11th march and last week was told not with anyone yet. Good luck x

NC SD 9th Jan
still nothing coming upto 25 weeks now 😩

This is wild. You’re the only Jan new claim I’ve seen still waiting! Is it a complicated one with lots to go through? I’d call every day or so now if I was you!
Im 26/02 and heard nothing.

Lucylu73 · 30/06/2025 14:14

Coc sd 11/12 phoned up awarded 27/6

Following!

cooperbug · 30/06/2025 14:34

@ProudZebra i phoned up this morning too and got straight through to a lovely man.
Told him we were on week 26 now and he also said no idea of how much longer it is likely to be and that they have a backlog of MR currently.

Sunflower1650 · 30/06/2025 14:39

@LLLH its with a decision maker, eeek. However I only posted further evidence on Saturday with his dyspraxia diagnosis report as I only had it through the post on Saturday morning! So she’s put a note on for the decision maker to say we’re awaiting a further report being scanned on. So I bet it’s going to delay it now. But with it being a confirmation of a further diagnosis I suppose it’s important for it to wait.

Positive post✨

Rang for the forms - 3rd Feb
Received them back - 12th March

They rang me between 10th-17th June but we was away on holiday so I rang back 18th June, they was requesting to send birth certificate, they said a decision has been made but couldn’t verify until they received it

I rang today to check if it had been done, a lovely lady answered who told me straight away

Awarded - MRC (only 2yo)

Unsure until when as I haven’t received letter
Awaiting backpay✨

At least these two seem to be singing from the same sheet even if it doesn’t leave us any further forward

Omg did they state there reasons it's a joke that us parents have to fight for what our children deserve fingers crossed for you at tribunal I hear there really good with outcomes just feel sorry for you that you have to go down that rd x

MR notice not arrived yet only a refusal letter. Im sure it’s to give us all less time to appeal as you have a month from when that arrives! But it’s normally dated same as the initial letter!
Feel at peace now with appealing as I feel confident they are entitled and happy to fight it. Have appealed successfully once before for another child who required a low award for a few years only.
The wait has been slightly devastating but reminded myself if successful at appeal it’s backdated to the initial coc (Although I’m sure they are aware carers won’t be backdated so there is a big saving there on refusal!) call me cynical !
