I won’t have time to call until Thursday although I feel a bit reluctant now after reading someone’s post about the recorded message saying don’t call unless they’ve asked you too 😳😳

Omg yes I seen that too it basically says don’t call us we will write to you when decision has been made!

Their communication is terrible 😔

Was me that wrote that. I actually didn't go through with the phonecall in the end. It's removed the last number option and just says don't phone unless you have been asked to and they can't give any updates on applications and to hang up

Omg, that’s so bad! As if it’s not bad enough the time we have to wait, the bad attitude of some of the call handlers, the lack of communication and now this, we are people who deserve to know what’s happening when they don’t keep us in the loop! So disrespectful! Hopefully we won’t need to cope with it much longer 🙏🏻

I agree some of the call handlers attitudes are shocking and they make you feel like you are wasting their time hence I’m not ringing again!

I don’t know why were so afraid to call 😂 we’ll never meet these people and the worst that can happen is we’ll say a few choice words and get hung up on but they definitely put me off calling up 😂😂

Does anyone else check their bank first thing just incase? 😂 I check it nearly every mirning now even though I know i wont be hearing back for a few weeks yet

I woke up so excited yesterday because I saw a notification from my bank, turned out it was just my direct debits going out a day early. Needless to say my excitement soon turned to pure deflation 😂😂

Snap! And here I am almost 28wks in to MR! I’m totally convinced my little one will be declined again and I’ll have to go down the appeal route! I just want to know either way

Yup same here im only 11 weeks into MR but being in northern ireland it usually is way faster than england. I thibk threads going to up the care award but make me take them to tribunal for mobility, even though she cant walk but because 1 piece of evidence stated shes making great progress with her overall mobility (it was dated October 2024) and shes still not walking and ive more evidence stated that shes not walking. I dint think they read it half the time

So I’ve just received a payment in my bank, works out at LRC only, glad I’ve got an answer but I know my son is entitled to more! I just don’t know if I have the energy to take it to appeal or not! They clearly aren’t going through all of the evidence

Appeal! They purposely give out lower awards/decline at MR hoping people wont go further with it. Its actually the while reason they introduced MR. Dont let them win

That’s shocking LRC only with amount of evidence you provided as @LocoCoco13 said take it to tribunal you have nothing to lose! U have been awarded something so this payment will continue until a decision is made with tribunal keep on fighting for what your LO deserves x
There is no way these people read all the evidence provided!

Woke up to a back payment today - not sure of the rate but think it’s LRC/LRM. No letter yet. SD was 27/3 so just within 15 weeks. Will help massively - really pleased for DD. Keep going everyone! 🙂

I’ll wait for the letter to come and take it from there, hopefully by then I will have my fighting gloves back on! Just feeling so deflated, I struggled to sleep after seeing that, I went back over all the evidence I sent and it just doesn’t make sense that he was awarded so low 😔

Backdated payment came through today after being awarded on Sunday and calling on Monday.

Now they long wait for UC lol

Glad your little one had finally been awarded and you've got a decision. If you have the evidence for a higher rate then fight it x

They clearly didn’t read it properly otherwise would of awarded at a higher rate x

MR 25 weeks yesterday. Just called still no update but at least it's not a decline yet I suppose 😂

I’m 24 weeks today MR I think they making decisions after 26 week mark
