So spoke with a lovely man in the phone so my 1st son's is only 9 weeks in and have been told upto 25 weeks that I knew anyway and my second sons should be on week 7 but because I don't claim child benefit for him because I just completely forgot to do this my mistake! They can not find anything on him so I asked what about the separate evidence I sent in he said until he has a reference number allocated to him his claim will be much longer than 25 weeks so I'm not sure what to do now😫

What scan dates were both of you?

Ah that's rubbish, I've got 2 claims in SD 16/3 and 26/3. I got asked on Friday for my 3 year olds birth certificate and sent it signed delivery on Monday. I've only seen one award from March 3/3 not any at thr end?

Was your new dates Feb to Feb or did they say yours is continuing from Monday? They said my new claim date was 28th February till February 2027 but 28th February is my scan date, whereas end dates obviously Monday so I'm a little confused? I just assumed it would carry on from Monday?

I think so I'm not too sure just said been awarded from 26 feb to 2030 and that I'm due back pay and will get the hrc and lrm now until 2030. X

Yeah that's pretty much what they said to me but didn't mention backpay? I think i was just abit shocked that they said from mrc to hrc lrm so don't think i actually heard the rest😂x

Yh I know 2 people 26.03 and 22.03 been awarded with new claims,also I'm hoping I don't have to send in a birth certificate as they already saying they can't find anything on him I'd be a bit worried to send in this case they can't find that too!

Oh wow that's good on the March dates. I just got my sons birth certificate back, they sent it signed delivery I'm shocked it was so quick!!

Hopefully you'll have a decision soon as they have requested his BC fingers crossed for you let me know how it turns out x

I think their just getting info ready for the next lot to go to the DM. It'll be awhile yet it's about 16 weeks for a decision. Keep me updated on tour claim, hopefully it won't be the 25 weeks their telling everyone lol

If your child doesn’t get child benefits it means Dla cant get their national insurance number ( which is also there reference number for Dla ) so it is more than likely they will send you a letter asking for your child’s birth certificate so they can confirm your child and request a national insurance number. Your child’s national insurance number gets generated when you claim child benefits for your child.

Yh he did say something like that I did call child benefit straight after to add him to my existing claim but there systems were down and she said once it's up and running shes going to send me a claim pack out so god knows how long that's going to take,also I'm going to get his BC ready for when and if they do ask for me ti send it in hopefully they dont lose it lol
