Hi girls.
i was hoping if you could help in driving myself nuts!
my evidence was an email from school senco saying she would completed my boys referral from Psicon and she was glad doctors are supportive.
A sen plan communications book for school detailing his struggles.
a statement from his aunty who is a sen teacher (was half term and needed to send forms back)
the referral itself and also the acceptance that he has been screened and they agree he needs to be seen for both ASD/ADHD.
an email from GP saying they have completed referral.

he is 8 years old, I haven’t at this time got any other evidence. Is this enough or am I going to stress until the end?

Wow that sounds like enough to me, I was awarded yesterday , I sent in - 9 page statement from myself and a supporting letter from school senco and a speech therapist letter form when he was 3 (he’s now 8) xx u will be fine xx

@Kirstylou91 i didn’t know I could use older evidence I have speech and therapy reports also. But dated 3 years ago!! Do I add this? I think I’m over worried as I felt it may not be enough. I didn’t get the school to write either but purely as was half term! Xx

@Loz21biu I only added this bkus some / most children with adhd in early years do have a speech delay, so I added the report from this, I also went to my gp and asked for my son to be expedited and in consultation she observed my son, I also got this printed at the surgery and added this in, all it said was - not able to sit still, making loud noises, not listening to mum , jumping up and down from chair, touching equipment. Xx

But literally that and schools senco letter with my 9 page statement is all I sent in xx

Same I’ve seen a few awarded with only parent statements xx

Thanks girls! I’ve just got out all his speech therapy letter from 2019-2023 he was under them for a very long time! Hopefully this helps. It’s hard knowing what to send as this is a NC for me! X

two claims for my twins!

A lot on these threads seem to be applying for their autistic children, I’m applying for two with cerebral palsy (and development delay) so I’ll list evidence sent in case anyone else is applying for a more physical disability.

Evidence sent:
statement from myself
nursery report
nhs physio report
private physio report
referral to specialist teacher service from nursery
details of equipment issued by ot/physio
mri report
diagnosis letter

My twins are only 2, so I worry that because it’s a physical disability we may get denied until mobility kicks in at 3. Despite the extra care it takes to look after two year olds with very limited understanding who can’t walk/ get to sitting without help (they can sit).

Snap we are also the 19-02. (I think as I never understand where people get the scam date from but this was the day it was received. I did get a letter but didn’t have a scan date on it)

i actually called last Friday as my child’s final EHCP has been issued and asked if it was worth sending in seeing as it was so close to the 15 weeks. I was told to send in as things were nowhere near yet. So we could be a while……….. I just have that feeling ours will be one that will be dragged out.

I no we just get told different things all the time.. I have seen march and later Feb date been awarded.. I just don't get it x.hope that helps with ur claim..Good luck too x

Sounds like you've sent off plenty so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you! The wait is awful, I'm so glad it's over for me lol the last few weeks seemed to really drag! Xx

13.02 decision was made Monday and back pay went in this morning, we got mrc and lrm, my little boy is deaf and even his deaf teacher said its very hit and miss whether we wpuld get awarded or not so I wasn't too confident but so happy he was awarded xx
