Hi, i am mr 28/11 and received a call today from a decision maker so hopefully eveyone else with a late november date should hear soon. She wanted to ask me a couple of questions. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
She called from an 0800 number which i didn't answer the first two times as i assumed they would call from a withheld number!!

it’s so sicknening how if we didn’t stand our grounds our children wouldn’t have gotten what they are eligible for.

MR 02/12 said they should be on December by end of this week or Monday latest I’ve just sent a letter in from the senco first class does anyone know how long it takes to be scanned in after it arrives? Hoping they get it and scan it in before Friday ! x

A Questions about mobility element.

I am helping a relative with a DLA application for their twins. I understand mobility is not awarded until 5 for low rate mobility. The application is currently being processed, the twins turn 5 next March. If the twins are considered/awarded for mobility would that start in this award (if awarded) but with a delayed start of March for the mobility element or would they have to reapply in March? I am guessing we won’t hear back about the claim until about July/August if 15 weeks but later if 25 weeks which would mean it would be less than 6 months until their 5th birthday.

i think the application has to be in within 6 months of their birthday for them to consider it, so i put an application in in November but my little one turned 3 in april (eligible for HRM) still awaiting a decision though x

It is nice to be able to relate with others feeling this awful anxiety of waiting and not knowing. NC scan date 27/2.. rang up yesterday , held for 1 hour and 15 minutes to be told 'waiting time is now up to 25 weeks you should know by 1st week of August ' I asked had my claim been looked at yet and he said no. Anyone else with the scan date of 27/2 already been given a decision? Thanks xx

My son just turn 5 should i apply for his mobolity element now

He is currently getting high rate care dla.and they said when he turn 5 i can apply for him mobility

@Tootyknickers92 I’m not the 27th but NC scan date 24/2 and was told that it has not been looked at by a DM yet, hoping it’s not the whole 25 weeks 🤞🏻.

Im the same date as you and when I rang last Friday I was told that it wasn’t even with a decision maker and that it can take up to 25weeks and even that isn’t a guarantee and that I still had plenty of time if I wanted to send in anymore evidence. It will be 15 weeks tomorrow, so I’m gonna wait until after the weekend and ring again on Monday if I haven’t heard anything by then x

Oh that sounds positive if they’re saying it’s pending a decision. Fingers crossed you hear something in the next couple of days 🤞

You will get your result in 2 or 3 days.i had same for my son they called and 3 days later i got my son back pay in my account

I have two claims both 26/2 and haven’t heard anything about either of them

Had a uc message on my journal asking me to do change of circumstances again as I put in wrong date my daughter get her backdated dla so I done this and they have only verified my 3 children who haven’t got dla my daughter who gets dla they haven’t verified is this a thing does it take longer to verify?

I’m currently waiting back pay also and they have only verified two of my children and left one out too . I had a letter in my journal today to say they will back pay me from December but it has no amount. I have been waiting three weeks

When did they verify your other ones ?

Did they only verify the ones without the dla and left the one with the dla ?
