Its so worrying when there not done in time got mine 31st Jan just wanted get in early as possible with being my first renewal mine was in 15 weeks to rhe day before decision was made, hopefully yours will be done today the forms are so draining do feel for you doing two forms so fingers crossed for you xx

Your same scan date as me I received 2 letters one dated 31.05.25. Just saying 15 weeks then another on the 03.06.25 saying sorry we still haven't made a decision yet so I don't know y I received the 2 I'm on hold now as my other son new claims apparently can't find it on system a.d it was sent end of April beginning of may can't really remember

Someone was saying yesterday that they kept being cut off. Sounds like a issue with the phone lines

I honestly have no idea!

i have been told it’s with a DM since about mid may. But when I ask what’s the hold up they just say they have got 25 weeks. They can be quite rude. I’ve had a few nice ones who have emailed the decision maker etc but still no luck. Hard not to worry!

I have sent extra evidence from the school to see if that helps but although it was delivered last Monday (recorded delivery) it’s still not been uploaded to his claim!

it wouldn’t be so bad if there wasn’t a possibility of him being declined and all this being for nothing 🫣

I have been a silent follower for months.Today we received our award!
NC - Called for forms on the 13/01/2025
SD- 21/02/2025

I haven't called at all throughout the whole waiting process mainly because im an anxious mess but also.. (maybe because this forum kept me sane) but today i thought i would give them a call to see where they was up to with my daughters application. I was told yesterday a decision was made and he asked if i would like to be put through to somebody who could tell me the award.

My daughter has been awarded HRC and LRM until 2029. I think the wait from scan date may have been around 16 weeks. 21 weeks since i called for the forms. Just waiting for the letter to come through the post and back pay to hit my account.

Good luck to everybody who actively posts on these threads and the silent but very grateful followers who read these threads daily. It is so hard fighting for what our children deserve.

The 25 week thing is rubbish they just say it to everyone, it's so frustrating but remember it's best that they ate looking into it all properly so there's a high chance it'll be awarded rather than just rushed through.
What evidence do they have to look through? Is there alot of doctors to contact?

Everyone who is currently going through MR does your letter state 11 weeks ? As I thought it was currently more than that xx

they haven’t updated their letters, mr’s and coc’s are taking roughly 25-30 weeks x

I thought so I was told 25 weeks over the phone. Another long wait 😩 xx

yeah they say 25 weeks so they are able to fob you off. When I say people from late Feb are being awarded they just say every claim is different.

I’m not sure who they will contact but I sent his EHCP, EP report, SEND support plan, cognition and working memory test scores, ASD report.

then a statement from the SENDCO about the extra support he needs in school- this is the evidence I sent last week that hasn’t been scanned on yet xx

still waiting have called to see if they’ve received extra evidence and now saying the evidence has been lost in the post. So have to resend wondering if I have time to do so as quite a few claims from in and around the same date as me have had decisions.

Wow wouldn’t recommend calling today I have been on hold for over an hour!

I’ve just called got through within 6mins. My renewal runs out 22/6 and it’s now with a decision maker. It wasn’t with a decision maker on Friday. I’m scared!!!! Xx

My SD is the day before yours. I rang on Friday and they said it isn’t even with a DM yet and that it can take up to 25 weeks and even then that’s not guaranteed. Although from following this thread it’s clear to see how things can change so quickly. Maybe send the evidence in again and send it signed for and hopefully they receive it before making the decision. I was told on the phone on Friday that I had time to send more evidence if I needed too.

Just called and spoke to a case manager there on dates 28th November for MR, they said they would be on December by the end of this week but she’s telling me it could possibly be next week now depending on how quickly they get through the November ones x

It’s a joke keep moving the goal post it’s like they have no one working on MRs at all
