It’s understandable especially seeing scan dates ahead of your own that’s y I’ve been quiet I don’t wana make other mums feel shitty if there SD was before mine I did as the call handlers y SD after mine was being awarded she said the DM/ case handlers take a pile

@Kirstylou91 when sent that email across today about the birth certificate they case the DM wasn’t even in today . I just think we ended up with the ones who take a few days off or on annual leave . Let’s hope with the email it prompt something . Hope you got the award you needed

Hi everyone, so my daughters dla run out the 9/6. I phoned it was not done. So was going to phone again in the morning.
anyway laying in bed and my phone has pinned and £279.20 has randomly been paid into my Barclays account. Her normal payment was received on the 27th of May.
does anyone know what this means please?

really pleased for you @Kirstylou91 im still reading but not posting as much but seen so busy with my big family.
I got two letter yesterday from DLA, my hands were trembling , i was expectong a letter of decline and reasons, but it was a letter saying 1) they wre looking into her claim and 2) they want her birth certificfate so im going to be sending that off today, with a copy of her latest prescription and ler latest clinical letter from her surgeon and doctor..

im 10w since scan date for a new claim today.

is that a positive thing they want her birth certificate??
will they send back the birth certificate??

do you mean 15 weeks since you rang for forms
im 01/04 since scan date and im 10 weeks today, you cant be 5 weeks ahead of me if your scan date was 3 days after mine.
are you including the day you rang for forms as im 15 weeks including the backdate as well for when i rang up for the forms

I got asked the same a few weeks back, I think their Just getting it ready to go to the DM. Send it recorded delivery! I got my sons back in 2 days

I havnt posted also but here for any advice etc

yes they just want to verify her date of birth & they will send it back normally recorded delivery
