Am please for you ladies but it seems I am the only 1 left...
I don't know why mine is taking this long .
It's just so difficult seeing earlier dates being responded to.
I am really stressed and feeling alone .
I apologise sounding this way but my anxiety is over the roof now .
MR sd is 15/11

I’m 20/11, unfortunately I think it’s just a case of us having decision makers who aren’t working a lot! Hold in there, hopefully won’t be long for us! Xx

Thank you

MR 21/11 28+4 weeks

I actually just photocopied some of the documents I sent in on the renewal. I don’t think they looked at the paperwork at renewal to be honest. I also just written how my daughter needs a lift pass. How her condition and care needs are lifelong

hope you all hear soon x

This is my fear that they don’t look. Hopefully they see my 50 pages and think let’s just give it 😂 so happy for you xx

Same scan date! Hope it was good news for you! Xx

Unfortunately it wasn’t! I can counter argue every point they’ve made. They’ve denied because school have said she can walk around school without her pram and play outside with friends. Course she can, her school consists of two small rooms, no corridors and a yard the size of a smaller small garden 🫣

Hi,

SD; 4/4/25. I’m 15 weeks in.

I’ve had a letter saying they need my son’s birth certificate to confirm his date of birth. Does this mean they are looking at my claim atm?

I got that 2 Fridays ago SD 26/3 so I'm guessing they was just getting mine ready for a DM rather than looking at his claim. Make sure you send it recorded delivery, my sons got sent back to me 2 days later. What's your SD? 4/4 makes you 9 weeks in?

Not necessarily no. I had a letter asking for son’s birth certificate back in April, I sent it off straight away and they returned it about a week later. I rang up last Friday as I’m in my 15th week to be told it isn’t even with a decision maker yet and could be 25weeks and possibly even longer 😔 I’m hoping that’s not the case though.

Oh I don’t know. I got that letter and another letter saying that I’m 15 weeks and they’re still looking at it. Perhaps I need to read them better. 😂

Lol ah no it says it can take up to 15 weeks for a decision, everyone gets that letter hehe. Nc are taking about 15-18 weeks atm so wait until 15 weeks from your scan date then call an see if they have made a decision, also sent his birth certificate ASAP signed delivery. Good luck hun x

Mine should be the same as yours then! I think it goes case manager and then DM so maybe a couple more weeks for us which will then be 16 weeks 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hi guys just a heads up how fast thing can change.

decision makers & case managers are the same people the call handlers may call them a decision maker or a case manager anyway…

I called twice end of may and was waiting to be assigned to a case manager / DM

called back on 2nd June as seen some late Feb / early March dates being awarded, same again waiting to be assigned

4th June something was telling me to ring so rang bang on 9 weren’t though security and lady said a decision was made on 3rd June, she said she wasn’t able to tell me the decision so I asked her to put me through to someone who could, waited on hold, a lovely lady answered, told me my sons award , the payments & all the info I needed to know.

so from 2nd June my claim waiting to be assigned to the next day a decision made can change very quickly

💛 gd luck to everyone
