Ive just received a text message saying a decision has been made but doesnt say what the decision is 😩 sais wait for a letter is this a decline? X

Call them on option 4 and they will be able to tell you the decision :)

Was it a NC? If so what was your SD?

No its a mr and was 8/10 x

On previous threads some have been decline but some have also been a award so I would call to double check

I hope it’s good news! Mines a NC SD 18/12. Seen a lot of people go to DM early last week with a SD of 12/12 so I’m hoping we go to a DM this week. So so nervous

If it's a positive outcome, do they always send payment before they let you know?

There's on just gone on fb group from mid January been awarded so it's very random with the dates

I really don’t understand how they work through it. I saw some on the last thread on here from early Jan being seen and awarded. It’s really frustrating to see. Amazing people are getting awarded but frustrating for others who have a scan date a month before them

Does make you wonder how or why it's done in no sort of order

Sometimes It can happen, if you don't receive a text message you will get money before the letter but if you receive the text that'll be first before payment! Hope this helps!

100% agree. I just thought they would go through it day by day etc. i would understand if it was with a DM and waiting further evidence or something but when it’s not even with a DM yet and others have been awarded with a SD of Jan time it’s making me more nervous

NC 19/12- spoke to them yesterday about further information I had sent and said no decision had been made or with DM yet, he said May / June but looking at others dates must be sooner!

I only worry as I reckon I messed up my form and didn't put half the stuff I meant to as I was dealing with her having a horrific night, as she always does, but it was exceptionally bad that evening and my head wasn't in the game, silly time to do the forms I know but I was determined then so ive sent in 2 lots of additional statements and evidence from preschool since and hope they've got those but I cant be arsed to ring up and check 🤣

Its a decline 😩 so upset been a year in total, anybody know the next steps and how long it takes x

Thanks. So it seems throughout the whole process there is no straight forward process 🤣 if it wasn't such a tense time it would be quite exciting to be kept on your toes to not know what might happen with letter, text, payment, timescales 🤣🤣

As long as you put the child’s name and reference number they should’ve recorded it. I sent all mine special delivery so I know they received it 😂 I only had 1 report from the health visitor then just loads of referrals. On top of that a statement from myself of what I need to deal with day and night. I feel like it’s no where near enough considering what I have read others put on here. I’m already thinking about an MR route which is stressing me out completely! It’s a horrible process

I have SD 11/12 and mine was with decision maker on Friday & yesterday I called & was still with them.

Yeah i went in very placid about it at the start before realising you had to be very specific. I should have joined these groups before. I still keep thinking things I should have added but we will see

Me too. I have no idea what I wrote on the initial one. It was such a challenge it was just a relief to finish it 🤣

It really was nice getting to the end. Headache of filling it all in then the headache of waiting anywhere from 18-25 weeks then the possibility of another 25 weeks on top with a MR is killing me inside.

Absolutely. Let's hope it doesn't come to that! It's feels horrible only focusing on the negatives of your little one
