My MR letter said up to 11 weeks but I doubt it very much. Been nearly 3 weeks but my renewal took my close to the end date. I think I had about 5 days left before it ended and my carers would have been stopped. Good luck everyone.

I have just told/convinced myself my claim will stay the same or award longer I just would like to be told it on the phone not have a letter
But now I’m at 25 weeks I also don’t want it rushed either and if it stays the same that’s what it will make me think it was rushed
juat got to wait and see
good luck to you let me know if you decide to call

Blimey 6 months!!! Im looking at October then

I'm on the DLA Facebook group.
Seen lots of posts for weeks of them catching up on claims from October to December.
Last few days I've seen a posts ofnew claims from January and February get processed in 11 weeks ISH ( will post screenshot of dates / page if anyone's interested).. baring in mind there's people still waiting since October etc.
I've seen claims take months. And sometake weeks. I truly believe its a lucky of the draw when they pick your forms up to be looked at

I am not on any facebook groups have you seen anything about renewals?

Mummyof4children · 24/04/2025 10:29

Is there different people for different cases like people for NC people for COC and people for MR ?

K2025 · 24/04/2025 10:36

Just showing some of the differences in time scales. I recommend if your doing a renewal to join this group there's alot more renewals posted than new claims and also MR tribunal info and files containing information top of tr group under more

Oh wow that’s amazing my scan date was 6th feb and still waiting and which ehcp and speech reports and that person didn’t send anything and got a decision maybe they have different people

Londongirl8922 · 24/04/2025 10:50

I’ve just rang and she said they have received my claim and I should hear within 25 weeks my scan date was 7/3 NC so I know it’s going to take awhile but just seen someone on the Facebook page that submitted hers not long after me and she’s already been awarded so tried calling hi myself …the woman talked so robotic you can tell they read from a script 😂 or is that just me that thinks this 🙈 x

Deffo think it depends who gets your claim and wat mood they are in lol.
i often wonder if the claims that have pages and pages of evidence are actually read properly. It's strange how some claims go threw quickly with next to nothing then I've seen claims with absolutely loads of evidence be Declined. So personally not gonna take whatever decision I get to heart as I'll be throwing an MR straight back in for someone else to look at it .I'm waiting on evidence coming so haven't sent any so not very hopeful ATM i did explain alot of dangers my son has pica and tries climbing out of windows and we are 3 floors up also non verbal hes only 3

Frustrating, in your screenshot that Wendy Harding whos was due on the 2nd May (2 days before mine) got her decision on the 15th, mine due on the 4th (a sunday so the 2nd is the closest working day) still no decision on the 24th
@Jaffacakesrlife have you heard anything?

Hi what is your SD
I just wish they was honest when people phone I rang on Tuesday and told to ring back friday as I will be 25 weeks but if they should say same to me
surely they knew Tuesday it’s going to be couple more weeks not days so they would save so much time on the phones

Same here I rang yesterday coc sd 8/11 and was told it should be done by 2nd may

I just don’t get why they tell people different story’s for
that is what pisses me off the most I wouldn’t mind if they told me 2 weeks ago it may go over 1 week etc
I wouldn’t be happy but at least you know
not having to chase it all the time
