Honestly I don’t understand it to be honest! Just been on call with them they said I don’t need to fill that in as I can just send another statement in to them without it with extra evidence.

I still don’t understand how they made a decision at 8:45 this morning when they don’t open until 9. It makes me think if they really looked at his application!

I’m so sorry they declined your claim like you said no way DM read the evidence you sent not even awarding u LRC, I phoned DLA to let them know I wanted to put in a MR and than put MR in writing with help of a CAB advisor and sent in further evidence for support the wait time is a nightmare my MR SD is 22/1 13 weeks tomorrow still have another 3 months or longer to wait

Yeah I did the call today, I’ll wait for the statement of reasons before I right my statement out and send extra evidence.

i said to the lady I spoke to on the phone who ever made that decision clearly didn’t read through everything I had sent, especially getting a decision today and getting the text at 8:45 when they don’t even open until 9!

another long wait ahead but I will be going all the way to court if I have too. Seeing others get awarded with less and then my boy getting turned away really hurts

100% understandable it is heartbreaking when we need to prove our child’s needs when we know how difficult each day is for them x I was the same with my LO we was awarded LRC in Dec 24 original SD was 12/8 there was a part they wrote she attends dance classes but no where on my forms that was written infact it said she struggles to walk unaided when I mentioned that to the person on the form she just ignored it!! No way some of these forms are read properly!

I phoned today to ask for my reference number as I haven't recieved it yet he said a letter was sent out nearly 3 weeks ago I haven't recieved it then told the usual 25 week wait if so I'm looking at August

I'm looking at beginning of September. So it's a long way to go for little one 🤔

Yes, I'm hoping before as the lady I spoke with 2 weeks ago, when i called to confirm the have it said should be quicker. And someone on here got 15 weeks after scan date and someone else 18 weeks and they did say they're going through new claims faster. But it's still a long way to go. Im hoping it will be in by July/August my goal is to take little one away for done great days out and maybe a little holiday by the seaside. She's been through a lot, lost blood, been in pain, had surgeries, lost weight, been in significant pain hunched over the bath, can't walk long distances. It's been rough for her.

maybe add a note on journal? i know it takes some time after being accepted because they have to manually change your statements, i’d just ask for a timescale x

Aww great thank you do you know if they automatically start looking at it because they verified and did the room thing 2 days later and I filled it in and got a response of a decision maker deciding I was entitled to a extra room like a hour later

K2025 · 22/04/2025 22:05

Well I'm only on 10 weeks since a first rang for forms.
Just wanted to share the amount of times I've checked my bank in hope of a back payment is shameful 🙈😂😂

They are working on NC quite quickly compared to last year so hopefully you should hear some good news soon think current wait time for NC is 15-18 weeks

I’m not sure tbh but hopefully it will give them a push to respond faster 🤞🏼
