Yes me and my husband was not really happy that we at to do it on a zoom call and not in person, can’t really tell over the phone with someone but hopefully the next one will be in person as I will put a complaint in if not .even on a waiting list for another hearing check which is absolutely ridiculous and he gets so upset with these appointments,he’s due his next lots of vaccinations in June and. I’m dreading that so much 😢 as I know he’s going to really get upset ,he starts crying when we walk into the dr’s…I’m not the best at filling out forms so I just hope what I write was enough and I’ve given them numbers for his nursery to speak to them…

My daughter had her jabs last month, id been putting them off for months and she was absolutely fine, although I made my husband take her and it actually made her sleep that same night 🤣🤣 winner!

Have anyone heard back around about 24/12 for N/c yet. I called last week and was still in a. Holding Queue

Our NC SD is 11/12 I rang this morning as I have evidence I think will really help with mobility- was told it’s with a decision maker! They put a note on the system and emailed them to say I had evidence arriving tomorrow that I believe will help evidence my son meets the mobility criteria. Really hope they wait and look at it!! Hopefully won’t be long before you hear back now!

Might see if any of my friends kids need their jabs and take them instead of their parents to ask for more myself 😂😂😂😂

Any COC still waiting or heard anything
my sons scan date is sd 31/10

Still here waiting too 8/11 going to ring in a minute and see if there's any update

LoudAquaViper · 22/04/2025 10:45

When starting the mandatory reconsideration process. Do you need to call them first before sending the MR form with new evidence or just send everything to them?

Unfortunately it’s not good news, my son has been declined. I’m gobsmacked why and how he got declined so another long 20/25 weeks ahead fighting for what he deserves

I'm so sorry to hear this. I've been keeping up with the chat to see if you were awarded as I know our children are similar ages. I'm really surprised you were declined but definitely fight it all the way because we are in similar circumstances with age and care needs and my DS was awarded HRC until 5th birthday (with no formal diagnosis) so you should definitely be awarded!!!

Krconboy · 22/04/2025 11:02

Good morning,

is there anyone who could help me with what I need to write to UC in regards to my sons DLA claim please? It would be much appreciated.

also, how does payment work with them? Do they back pay you like DLA do or not?

many thanks

MrsB113 · 22/04/2025 11:03

Week 16 for MR after renewal was declined. I have today received the statement of reasons for decline. The reasons 🤦‍♀️
•Attends mainstream
•Doesn't have an Ehcp
•Is a high achiever
•wears headphones because they don't like noise.

I thought dla was based on care needs. I didn't realise my childs physical disability and the care required would be overlooked because they are intelligent.

Honestly I’m so upset, frustrated, angry. So many emotions. I got the text at 8:45. Called when they opened at 9. She said the decision was made today?! A decision was made before they even opened. I’m so shocked

theres no mr form, call them and ask for a statement of reasons, when it arrives you kind of do a statement cross referencing what they say x

Oh, on the gov website there’s a MR form called “if you disagree with a decision made by the department of work and pension”

if no one does it that way I’ll just call and do it that way

maybe call and double check, this is just what i’ve seen previously, the first step is definitely the statement of reasons so just ask when you’re on that call x

Sheryl1234 · 22/04/2025 11:27

I just went on live chat about coc SD 22/10
