Please feel free to add your scan date and whether it's a new claim/mandatory reconsideration/change of circumstances or renewal.
New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

It’s a week over the deadline still no response. Online portal has last weeks date no changes, I’m going to chase up this week. But I think it’s not unusual they don’t stick to deadline, which is super annoying was hoping no delays with this.

@zoeybrooks45 Call the tribunal service ASAP the judge will write to them and give them 14 days to respond or give their submission as part of the bundle... Remember for your tribunal ( even if dla don't respond) still has to be within the time scales and that timescale starts from your original decision date from dla and not the MR date... Give tribunal a call if they don't respond to the judge within the 14 days just press on ahead with the tribunal they will have to send a representative to the hearing in person.. But if you keep waiting for them you could be outside the timescales the tribunal could end up rejecting your appeal...

after being declined on the 20/12 I put in a MR got my MP involved and have just been awarded for my daughter HRC & HRM can you please advise how I update this with UC and request it to be back dated

Im trying hun its been with a dm since wednesday surely a decision had been made now its pissing me off not knowing thanks tho hun

they said on wednesday was with a DM when i rang friday said was with case manager 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

no decision ive asked them if they can ask to get it done quicker i wouldnt mind but my child needs some new reins as hes at risk of running into the road and has no sense of danger they have sent message to DM he said it only takes a few days i said well they have had since wednesday to make a decision so how is it only a few days

If people can get there decision 2 day after its been with a DM then i dont understand how mine is taking so long he was like oh a decision should be made by wednesday it only takes a few days and i was like well its been with them nearly a week so how can you say it only takes a few days sorry im ranting but now its annoying me now i know its a decline :(
