New claims (NC) - people are being told the wait time has increased to 25 weeks! I would say most are done before this though around the 20 week mark?
Mandatory reconsideration (MC) and Change of circumstances (COC) is around 20-25 weeks.
Renewals tend to be between 15-20 weeks.
If you disagree with the outcome of an MR you can appeal and go to court (tribunal)
Scan date is the date DLA scan your application forms on to their system, if you downloaded your application forms then this will be from when your award will be backdated from. If you called up for forms then the date on those is the date yours will be backdated from.
If successful and claiming universal credit (UC) please update them as this will entitle you to disabled child element adding extra to your award.

I waited five weeks for the carers element to be backdated, I am still waiting around 3 months now for the child disability element to be backdated, I just asked if I can make a complaint 🫣

Go on the gov website and make a complaint online about uc, the link is on this thread somewhere x

Thankyou I asked on my journal to make a complaint, they responded and said they will escalate to the DM, I just got a message saying the DM will update my journal by the 22nd so fingers crossed it all goes through smoothly!

I've just rang and asked if they had received the letter I sent in after the form. She said that she has now put them in the same file.
She told me without me asking that my claim is still in holding queue it hasn't been seen by a DM yet

Similar to me, SD of 6/9. Rang earlier in the week and was told to wait to 25 weeks before contacting them again.

Mr decision yes! 23 weeks today, sc 9/8. Was with DM from Tuesday/Wednesday i think. Then she called me this morning and the school then about 1.45 I got text about decision, so I'm being impatient and calling to find out!

After being told off yesterday for ringing yet again to chase, I ignored that advice and rang again this morning! Decision made.. MRC, LRM.
SD was 04/09. Such relief and happiness for my daughter!
