When does everyone start phoning regularly? We are just over 17 weeks now

Moominwaiting · 19/12/2024 09:53

Chels2020 · 19/12/2024 07:34

That what I’m thinking seen loads of August now surely not much July left and I’m sure someone on here who knows a dm said they have to finish July by the 22nd well that’s Sunday 🙈🙈 x

Yes! You will have a decision by the end of this week!

That was @PositivityRipples who said Julys have to be wrapped up by 22/12. Wondering if they’ve started August MRs beyond the ones that have randomly already been done. New decision makers were meant to be drafted in for August and Septembers claims

I feel like when they see your phoning regularly they just say anything to get you of the phone it seems to be the same script they say every times just with amended dates lol

SnappyHam · 19/12/2024 10:01

Could I also ask why people phone regularly unless it's very overdue as I don't imagine it speeds it up or is it so they can find out if decision is made before payment/text/letter.

Shellbel10 · 19/12/2024 10:01

If anyone has done a renewal. What happened to your reward

Cole98ox · 19/12/2024 10:06

I had a call of dm and they said they was righting up a report and they will message me later with a decision what does this mean

Pretty much. The letter states 15 weeks so anything over that is classed as overdue in my case lol even when they say 20/25 weeks on the phone I take it with a pinch of salt

Is that all they phoned you for? They usually phone to clarify information. What is your scan date? I would say you’ll have a decision by end of day

Cole98ox · 19/12/2024 10:13

Yeah they phones to say they rang the school and the school said they don't support dla so couldn't tell them nothing and scan date is 6/8

I’d ring back this afternoon to see what the claim says on the notes x

Fingers crossed it’s your turn today. It’s not fair to have kept you waiting this long

Wigswaddis · 19/12/2024 10:18

Scan date 28/08/2024 new claim and just about to post my sons renewal.

This sounds as nonsensical as our school. They didn’t say they don’t support but SENDCo said she wouldn’t be the one speaking to a DM it would need to be a class teacher. Teacher would be teaching and not able to leave kids just on a whim. Same scan date but MR

I get I had to send extra evidence then it was scanned into my file (no idea why I have no dla file but hey ho) and then from
Monday it’s on them when we found it and changed it over so almost a week to read a letter seems abit bonkers but never the less I’m phoning after lunch and if nothing again at 4.30 then if not I will log a complaint tomorrow morning then

It is crazy given how fast you got and sent it. I logged a complaint last week, wasn’t called back. Different reason though

MerryTaupeNewt · 19/12/2024 10:21

A million miles away from hearing.. but N/C SD 21/10.

Still no call back? That’s ridiculous I’ll ask to speak to dm then if they get shirty she was quick enough to ring me so I’ll return the favour 🤣🤣

Various reasons, check progress, wait times, add additional information, check if evidence has been scanned on, make a complaint etc

No nothing. I’m just glad we are something near the end come next month even if it goes to tribunal at least that will be progress 😂

I tell them when I’m calling back given our letter said 11 weeks think I’m within my rights and would like to know if I need to contact CA to help with tribunal 😬
