Realistically you should be before Christmas. They are on august now🙄

That what I’m thinking seen loads of August now surely not much July left and I’m sure someone on here who knows a dm said they have to finish July by the 22nd well that’s Sunday 🙈🙈 x

So by that logic you will have a decision by then. I have a good feeling! And even if you do manage to ring at 9 and they say that no decision is made, it doesn’t mean that a decision won’t be made today. Things can change by the hour x

Woke up to back pay this morning, about 2617, 19 +3 weeks. Unsure of rates, feeling recognized and overwhelmed.
I was massively doubtful we'd be accepted due to my first time claiming (child is now 12 but was told to claim yrs ago) and I was worried about my wording. I focused on our daily challenges instead of all the extra things we have to do.
Thank you so much to all on this thread, I've been following for a few weeks and you've kept me going, I've learnt so much and don't feel so alone in my battle.
Keep fighting guys and fingers crossed for you all x

Congratulations to you and your child

Any other MR's from July waiting? We're the 25th.

I didn't ask for the statement of reasons when I did mine. I didn't know about it and I was so up in arms about the whole nighttime section being missed on the award that I just wrote my response from that.

If I need to take it to tribunal ask for the statement after the MR result will it be the original one and the MR or would I need to specifically ask for the one from originally claiming?

I hope that makes sense.

Mine is from 06/08. I didn’t ask for a statement of reasons. I’m assuming you could request both, the original one and MR one. I sent my claim in late so it could be declined just on those grounds but still gives the right to take it to tribunal

after you have a decision from your MR, you’ll receive a mandatory reconsideration notice. So it’s a letter basically saying why they’ve made their decision. So not a statement of reasons as such but pretty much the same. If that’s what you mean x

Do you reckon I’m best not phoning at 9 then maybe mid day again? X

Kc1999x · 19/12/2024 07:56

There was a 22nd of July MR done on Facebook the other day, think they had payment thou on Tuesday so decision made last week

If it was me. I’d ring at 9 and if no decision ring again around 4:30.🤷🏽‍♀️😂 but then again DMs work until 8pm. I rang on Tuesday at 4:30ish and decision still wasn’t made but the decision was in fact made on Tuesday

I really hope so but not holding out much hope if I’m honest definitely expecting it to be in the new year now my dm may have started August and come back to me when she’s done them which is total understandable if she was waiting my evidence x

you can request MR statement of reasons at anytime. I requested it 2 months after I submitted MR as I didn’t receive first time. The lady did explain on the phone but it is better if you can physically see the reasons and based your MR off that. Good luck hopefully you’re not waiting too long xx

I can’t see them doing all of August before relooking at yours when she knows what she was waiting on is there.
