Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐
New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated
UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case
number for an update 121-4600 0800 121-4600
currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

I just want to know now. My oldest son claims PIP and his claim was done within 4 weeks of sending the claim form of he didn’t even need a assessment that was 2 months ago and it was them who I thought would take ages and dla be quicker turns out I was very wrong

I rang yesterday but why do I have the itch to ring again today 😂 it will make no difference

What date is yours? Was told Tuesday it’s gone to a dm. I’m pretty sure mines Gona be a Decline tho if I’m honest x

Same date as me. Have they told you whether it’s with a DM yet?

I don’t trust any thing they say tho lol. Other week they told me it was with a dm.. days after they said I was 2nd in the queue for a dm.. and now again with a dm.. I’m just gonna hold out now. Hopefully not much longer for us all x

They have no idea themselves they told me 3 weeks ago not with a dm and then the dm rang me 2 hours later so honestly trying not to get so roped in I know it’s hard I’m gunna phone again soon god help me lol x

No they really don’t. Can’t believe how long you have been waiting. Hopefully you hear back by end of tomorrow atleast x

I got a decision my son won his award hrc I'm so happy scan date 6/8 they said I will receive back pay 4/5 days does that include weekends

NC, SD - 06:08 I'm getting really anxious now, and just praying for the best, I was thinking of sending in a sleep dairy today and updated support plan but dont know if there would be any point in doing that. Hoping I'm close to the end however I have been told to wait till the end of January, no one ever gives me any information of whether its in a queue or with a DM

Ring still no decision I will leave it today and make a complaint tomorrow if nothing! The wait is ridiculous and rather annoying now to say the least!

PIP don’t seem as backlogged as DLA. Hope you hear soon

Had a call back from a guy based in Birmingham he was really nice. He said he’s aware regarding timeframes and he is also aware that claims are being done out of date order. That’s the first time anyone has said they are aware. He reckons even though they are still saying 25 weeks it could well be early new year for a decision so fingers crossed. I asked about the lateness element as ours was submitted late due to my mum being very poorly he said he thinks it should still be considered 🤞

Things could change by the afternoon with them and might just not be loaded on to system

Sorry. It could still be decision is made but call handler can’t see it as it’s not been uploaded. Feel for you
