3-5 days I think? Though I think they just quote max time it could take. What a lovely Christmas it’s going to be. Make sure to treat yourself too!

it Really is. to have the pressure off of my shoulders and the consistent worrying is an amazing feeling🥹😂 this has officially made my Christmas I don’t need nothing else. Need to thank my sons teacher because I have no clue what she said but it must of helped🙏

I really think ours will go tribunal in which case it is better I hear in the new year when everything is back running as normal and the kids are in school as I’ll be stressed out enough. My littlest one is in nursery until Christmas Eve but my 4 year old will be home and she won’t give me any peace 😅

That’s what I’m thinking mine will be declined so I’d rather not know now so just gunna leave it put it on the back burner I am saying this but it’s not going to be that easy 🤣🤣 but let’s see surprising for the last two days I have got through a little faster less than half an hour so hopefully they are getting there (wishful thinking) I’ve no chance of calling I can’t even pee without the word mum! So never mind make a phone call 🤣🤣🤣

Decision was made yesterday. Staying on HRC but awarded LRM. Not the decision I was hoping for but greatful of course. Will get the ball rolling on an MR after Christmas I think.

Thank you. It's a step in the right direction at least. I feel my son deserves HRM but I think I probably didn't have enough evidence... At least I know now what I need to get what he deserves ☺️ just another long wait 😂

i didn’t send that much extra evidence on the mr, was literally a statement from nursery and myself. Then they spoke to the school. Half the time they don’t read what you’ve sent or seek out all the positives to give reasons as to why your child doesn’t fit a certain criteria. If they can get away with awarding less they will do it. They don’t expect all to appeal it. Best thing I done and was well worth the wait🙏 good luck if you do do the mr, enjoy Christmas first😂 it’s not worth the stress during the festive period

Thank you for the information really handy to know. I will definitely do an MR but definitely not until after Christmas. Surely I can have a week off 😂 so glad yours got awarded! Shows it's worth fighting for

Sorry there is that Many people on here I can’t remember who’s on what 🙈🙈 congratulations hopefully some peace of mind untill after Christmas I’ve accepted I’m a new year crew 🤣🤣 I don’t mind now giving up chasing after today just slightly annoying it’s taking so long when she’s already reviews my claim just wanted. Letter from school to confirm what I was saying but hey ho x

If you’re applying under SMI I do recommend doing your own statement against each point as to why your child fits the criteria. When I spoke to the decision maker that’s what she was reading. Use the decision makers guide and case law aswell. Sendhelpuk is the website I found most useful. It really is worth fighting for especially when your child is entitled. When you call and ask for the statement of reasons they’ll extend the time to get the MR in anyways so plenty of time to rest

I can only imagine, best Christmas present ever. Your sons teacher sounds lovely and supportive, I miss that with primary. Funny thing is mine was getting more support when he didn’t have a diagnosis and was attending mainstream 😂 I’ve started the ball rolling on opening discussions of a new setting see where that goes. I think if it comes down to a DM speaking with school they will ruin our chances but I do have the argument that he is more here than he ever is there they’ve got his attendance reports 🤞

I go to the garden if the kids are about and I need to make a call. I’m thinking 9am is around some of their breakfast times so I can get a call in then 😂 I really hope you hear before they break up it’s more than sufficient time for them to look at a letter.

MR 14/08
Original SD 14/02
Sent the official Autism diagnosis this week along with the 16 page report explaining the decision, which they said would help decide mobility, im hoping they won't need to contact the school now as they are bloody useless, even the asd assessor said she's never seen a school show little interest, and be so unaware of the needs of a child who is obviously struggling.

I'm hoping with this they will get it done before February, 10 months waiting is enough

Good luck everyone and congratulations to all those who've been awarded and keep fighting to those who need an MR and those still waiting. No one knows your child better than you so don't give up 💪

You’re not far behind me I’m 06/08 MR. We will be heading all the way to tribunal if needs be. Good luck hope we aren’t long in hearing
