Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐
New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated
UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case
number for an update 121-4600 0800 121-4600
currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

I've caved on hold for update SD 14/08 NC.

My son already receives HRC so wanted to add on mobility as he turned 5 in September, they've awarded him LRM which I'm over the moon with.
Do you know if they backdate it from when he turned 5 at all?
I forgot to ask on the phone.

They were telling me 5 weeks left just yesterday. Don’t give up hope of getting a decision sooner. I know it’s disheartening to hear the same thing from them every time

OK hunni did you get hrM for him now in MR if not already got his blue badge via non automatic route will be able to access it easier with HRM x

Awarded Tuesday, back pay Friday. If you’re awarded today I’d expect back pay on Tuesday next week x

Wow over the moon just got a message saying my son qualifies 12/08.

I would assume they would back date from either the 17/7 which is my scan date or 17/9 which is when my son turned 5 for him to be entilted to mobility. But I was unsure if they backdate for COC? If anyone knows😌

I know the feeling. I’m sure on 28th when DMs will be working a lot more will get their decisions on 30th ahead of the new year x

I was awarded Sunday. Mine is pending for Monday. But as with Monzo I can get it on Friday at 4pm. X

Congratulations on all the awards wow been a great day! 16.08 nc have mentioned before for baby so expecting they will decline it though it’s a lifelong condition. I haven’t rang since last week will see if I get anywhere between Christmas and new year!
