Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐
New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated
UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case
number for an update 121-4600 0800 121-4600
currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

That’s what I said when I called up. Told them if the call was recorded check it, at no point was I rude. I get her on the phone again I’m not being polite. It’s the one we were talking about a while back, young girl cba she told me being down as 14/08 won’t make a difference, it absolutely will and I’m calling back Monday and every day until they confirm they sort it

My son is 4 and 5 in early January. His was awarded end of November and we have his care rate from the SD, then they’ve added LRM from his birthday week. Rather than us having to apply again to add it

It will make weeks of a difference has she not seen the current waiting times🤦🏽‍♀️ keep at them, your scan date is the 06/08 not 14🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I wouldn’t like to imagine how many cases that could potentially be. I was told weeks ago they would get the date changed, seems to be both there 🤷‍♀️

I seen another over on Facebook having the same issue🤦🏽‍♀️ I don’t even know what to think with these anymore. Taking the absolute biscuit with everything aren’t they

Oh really, have they sorted it for her? I’ve not seen the same issue on any of these threads. No idea why they have 14th on there. I did it over the phone and have a letter stating 06/08. It’ll just be another thing dragging it on. No call back I’m so done with them there’s needs to be an online complaints system like they have for UC 😑

As far as I’m aware they did sort it yes, but it’s very hit or miss with them isn’t it🤦🏽‍♀️ and yes I feel the whole system needs updating to online at this point

Yes so it seems they are working towards the end of July now. Fingers crossed for some news very soon🤞🏽👀👀

@s39 thankyou lovely. I waiting on receiving a letter what was sent out on Thursday from the dm. I had 4 missed calls on Thursday from dm wanting to know if I still want to go ahead with my mr cos I rang and said I didn’t want to go ahead with mr back in July cos I sent everything I had but was waiting for my sons autism assessment by private. I’m fighting for hrm as my son is 8 no sense of danger severe intellectual disability diagnosis now autism diagnosis I have that full report now. I’m going to go ahead as I just find it odd that the dm rang asking why I don’t want to go ahead I thought tho that cos I rang and said I didn’t want to ahead with it back in July it’s still reached a dm. We can only try. X

I really hope so I’m fed up now 19/07 is a long wait but never mind it is what it is I made a complaint yesterday so let’s see I am

I think it was @PositivityRipples who said her ex was a DM and said all July claims would be done by 22nd Dec which is tomorrow so hopefully when you call on Monday a decision will of been made 🤞🏼
There was a fair few Aug dates done throughout the week so maybe it’s true they are finishing up on the last of Julys x

Ring them Monday and see if a decision has been made maybe with the evidence you provided for MR they have changed his reward to HRM xx a letter normally takes 7-10 days and with the holidays you probably won’t get it until week after

Yes received it yesterday. Cried again because I still don’t believe it😂 waiting on the letter now
