Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐
New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated
UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case
number for an update 121-4600 0800 121-4600
currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

Omg! Just got through to a lovely lady and he’s been awarded HRC and LRM for 2 years. I honestly cannot believe it! I was expected LRC or MRC at very best! For some context he is 5 and undiagnosed ASD and on the waitlist for an assessment. I sent in 12 pages of my own report on how his day to day is, a letter from Health Visitor, a very small letter from school teacher and evidence of his prescriptions. Xx

Thank you, I’m really in shock but glad it’s over. I’ve been watching for a while and must say all you ladies are amazing, the wait is torturous it really is so stressful. I know it’s easy for me to say fight for what your child deserves but honestly do not give up xx

New claim, scan date is 20/8/24!

This wait is torturous! 19 weeks today SD 09/08 just called to be told it’s not even with a case manager yet and is waiting to be allocated, thinking my son won’t get a decision now until next year, the man on the phone was talking so fast I could barely understand what he was saying 😂

Same SD as mine. I only rang once after sending new evidence In. This was about a month ago and tbey guy told me it would be end of Jan I would hear 😫

The wait is hilarious hang on in there loads of August dates getting done now so hopefully your not too much longer x

Just called and have made a decision of MRC which she already had and LRM will probably put a MR in after xmas but at least a decision has been made

They seem to be ploughing through the August dates pretty quick. I hope to see more decisions today! Just so you know too, I specifically requested a text and never got one so that made me think it had been declined. So if you don’t get a text don’t worry too much!

I called back and made a complaint the guy asked for the time of the call and located it so he could feed back. I haven’t ever been rude to them and expect the same in return!

06/08 ours isn't assigned yet. I’ve asked for a call back as I keep being told 14/08 which is a difference from our actual date.

There’s every chance it has been and if not then complain so you can get a decision before they shut
