I’ll ring at 11 tomorrow I can’t do any earlier and see nightmare eh lol
x

Good chance you could well hear before then. I would be super annoyed. Remember they work weekends as well.
I’ve had a call off sons school now I’ve said I’ve informed his plan co about his attendance, she didn’t know and they will be in touch with them in the new year, I didn’t feel supported with requests often ignored and we will be discussing options of a change of setting. Funny how they’ve managed to call isn’t it! I ignored it. I’m not supporting them it’s not detrimental to my sons as he’s not getting the support or there for the most part anyway. I want an email so I have a trail if needed

SKB12 · 19/12/2024 13:01

Like my son could be absent for weeks and I won’t hear a word from them, suits them they are still getting his generous allowance regardless. I’m flattered that they know he is safe with us but what if a child wasn’t?!

Cole98ox · 19/12/2024 13:07

Back pay 4-5 days does that include weekends x

No it’s ridiculous I don’t really have much to do with my sons school either he’s been off all week and they haven’t rang one either! He’s 14 x

Mine is 13. They should be doing a welfare check or call. One thing I’m thankful to them for they’ve got me to a stage I’m now not beating around the bush or being as polite. I’ll have a meeting with them in the new year if required but not without his plan co. I copied in the head so he was aware of what his staff aren’t doing

I got a decision my son won his award hrc I'm so happy scan date 6/8 they said I will receive back pay 4/5 days does that include weekends

Congratulations. Doesn’t include weekends but I know with some banks it drops it a few days earlier - I’m either Barclays and any payments due on a Monday always come into the bank on a Saturday x

CyanJewel · 19/12/2024 14:19

My timescales experience with UC.
They have now verified child details.
Notified backdating due on Tuesday. So about 10 days to sort in total from first journal message.

Seems DLA are getting through the beginning of August so good luck to all still waiting decisions.

CyanJewel · 19/12/2024 14:21

Off topic, anyone know of a reasonably priced store for sensory items. I found Learning Space costly.

SKB12 · 19/12/2024 15:10

Quiet on awards today?

Medusaxxoo · 19/12/2024 15:26

Hey Iv been reading and looking for weeks. My NC SD is 12/08. I can see August dates are well on their way now it’s making me need a nervous toilet 😂 my son is 12 I sent no evidence just a statement from my friend who helps me with childcare. Still waiting to be referred via the school. His a handful and most days I don’t even went to get up because I know I’m about to do a 30/60 min stint just to get him out of bed and dressed etc . I’m feeling like I’m getting declined since as I see so many people saying what evidence they sent but I didn’t send anything. Was just going on a friends experience for when she claimed. I did call yesterday to chase but lady sounded half asleep tbh don’t really trust her saying ‘February isn’t here yet’ x
