Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

Finally a decision on the other twin’s claim. Also awarded MRC which we somewhat expected as he has no evidence. However the decision letter for the first one arrived today. They haven’t acknowledged any supervision needs or behavioural issues, just that he requires extra help with bodily functions, they didn’t look at the evidence and apparently 90% of the form! This MR should be fun…

I'm guessing as I phoned yesterday and was simply told it was "in a queue to be reviewed" it means there's absolutely no point in calling today. Another week then..!

Oh that’s positive news. Glad you got it sorted out. I haven’t bothered to chase the taxi company today and won’t be. If DM wants to speak to them they have their details!

I know fingers crossed I get it early next week and then I’ll be posting the fastest delivery they can not sure what that is but I’ll definitely be posting immediately lol x

The man I spoke to this morning has just called me say he has tracked my documents and they are all scanned onto the system, so least this is one less thing to worry about

Next day special delivery I think that’s the fastest you can get

NC SD 26/07 Called them today and was told no decision yet and it could take another 7 days. Hoping for the best but expecting a decline as I didn’t have much evidence to send. My son is 3, on the pathway for autism diagnosis, has his school senco involved at nursery who completed part of the DLA form but other than that I didn’t have much evidence to send.

Hoping for a decision soon! Does anybody know if they work over the weekend?

Same scan date as me, I saw some people get rewarded last Saturday so I think some DMs must work weekends? Fingers crossed you get good news soon 🤞🏻

Seen one for 22.08 yesterday as well my scan date 6 days later but got told I wouldn’t get a decision till first week of feb earliest yesterday. It just annoys everyone I think xx

Yes got told this yesterday and I was told to not even to expect a decision before the first week of feb. Was told 15 weeks in September 😡😡 x 28.8 mine is xx

me everyday. Left more disappointed than the day before😂 but get through this weekend then onto week 21🎉😂

getting really impatient waiting on my daughters EP report to send off as extra evidence. 😩

Exactly they taking the p🤬 god forbid but if it’s a decline let me now asap no point making us wait the full 25weeks. Hope we both hear soon ❤️

Yeah dm said that to me today my sd 18th sent eveidmece off what they requested on 4th Dec so give them tracking number and they will track it on there end so when it comes in dm will put it to top amd make descion

Congratulations! Good to see awards creeping towards end of July.

Hoping they start getting through August ASAP, was told to expect decision mid December off one call handler then another told me end of Jan no consistency. I do feel the male call handlers are more sympathetic from my experience, the women I've spoken to have been quite abrupt. Anyone else had similar experiences?

Don't wanna call again but want to lol
I need to put in for my 2 of my other neurodivergent children but the stress puts me off the long winded unnecessary wait is awful
