Still in the queue not been allocated.

I haven’t called, would just be told the same. I expect it to be after Christmas for mine

Kc1999x · 06/12/2024 10:23

@SKB12 someone’s had their mandatory reconsideration looked at from November and decision made. Can’t cope today at all🤦🏽‍♀️

They told me I’d hear by the 9th of January

That was supposed to say a 'separate' word document, not desperate 😂😂 that's really made me laugh. Either one is true!!

I don’t think you will to be fair! But it’s the wait that has you double guessing all the time! Atleast we pretty much got a week left! Fingers crossed we both get awarded!

Latest date is 28th Jan, anything before then would be a bonus but I’m pretty sure it’s not going to be this side of Christmas

That’s shocking. She kept saying we don’t know how complex the case may be. As far as I’m aware it’s end of life only that are fast tracked and of course we wouldn’t question that. We’ve seen it consistently on here where they are jumping ahead without having finished the cases before those!

addies · 06/12/2024 10:30

@Tasham25 yes, fingers crossed. I will keep you posted if I hear anything at all / get a back payment

If I called up they’d pretend to have no clue! I’m not ringing really can’t be bothered with them

It is stressful and frustrating, the call handlers say different things and it seems the goal posts are constantly being moved.

I was told a couple of weeks ago that I need to be 'patient' - they will get to my daughters claim when it is her turn!

I might not mind that so much if they were working in date order, I have seen SDs in August/September being given decisions when there's quite a few July's still waiting to hear.

It's a safe space to rant if that's what you need, we can all relate to the situation x

Edited

Yeah I just seen one last night 22.08 that’s 5 days from my scan date. Knowing my luck my will end up in a dm pile that’s well behind xx

hello all, I had no idea this thread existed! I’m awaiting two new claims, one SD 16/7, and one 9/8.
the 16/7 one is apparently with a decision maker but they can’t tell me when a decision will be made and as it’s with one apparently nothing can be done to speed it up. So shall see how it goes 😬

That’s exactly what I said. I said I know for a fact they aren’t special circumstances so why are they getting done quicker or is it just pick and choose at this point.

I was going round in circles with both me and her saying the same thing. She said without having a name and reference number she couldn’t comment or discuss anyone else’s case which I don’t ask her to, what I was saying is if they are working from home it seems they are just grabbing random piles. They are not end of life or I wouldn’t have called them!

Saw a new claim 13/09 be awarded back pay. Thats a day after my scan date and only 12 weeks. The way they work really confuses me 😂

I’m on 19 weeks for MR and still not been assigned.
from what I’ve seen it seems to be about 22 weeks although seems to depend on area also.. I’m in the north west x

Just checked and nope. New claim and in England. I wouldn’t mind but mines 12/09 so I look at what scan dates are being done, see July and think it’s fine I have ages yet so I leave it be. But then I see a September slip through and i go back to constantly checking the bank and looking out for the postman again 😂 when in reality I think she just got lucky and I have a good few weeks left yet 😂 x

Emz2203 · 06/12/2024 13:17

NC sd 26/07/2024

called last Friday to check extra evidence had arrived and it hadn’t the man on the phone told me it was going to be picked up by DM at any point and wrote a message on her claim to say awaiting evidence, called again today and evidence still hasn’t arrived so they are now tracking it there end as I sent tracked through Royal Mail, I asked how long I’ll be waiting for decision now and all he would tell me is it should be this month, I’m so anxious about it now and not really sure why I have a feeling it’s going to be a decline 😩 my daughter is 13 diagnosed ASD is on a reduced timetable at school and only attends 1 hour a week we are awaiting EHCP. Ive had to cut my hours at work to be able to look after her, I feel so drained
