Hi everyone I have been watching all the comments for a while you are all amazing. I have seen a lot of July scan dates at the moment. My scan date is 22/08 anyone here with the same scan date. Thanks

Hi hun my date is 22.8 but mine is MR which I think are taking longer than NC hope they get through July as its been very slow and with it approaching Christmas I can't see them doing too much
I was told 11 weeks in letter but on phone 1st time wss 25 weeks 2nd time she said 24 weeks bit random but yeah I wouldn't be surprised if taking up to 30 weeks
It's flawed really would make sense to have access to information on a online system ..gosh lol

Nc 29/7 18+5

I rang yesterday and she said I've still got 2-3 week wait. She didn't really know what she was talking about nor was she very helpful. But I'm still going to be ringing next week!

addies · 06/12/2024 07:37

@SMO212 that's a new one. Same scan date as me and I've been told it'll be done by the 20 week mark. Both call handlers were trying to get me off the phone ASAP so no help there for me either.

Kirstygingee · 06/12/2024 08:22

Do I have to call up to do a COC? Do they send a form out? Thanks

Yes ring up and say you would like a change of circumstance form. They will send it out to you!

Morning all. Hoping for some good news for everyone today🤞🏽🙏

blahblahblahhhhh · 06/12/2024 08:46

I’m 20 weeks on Saturday, does anyone know which number is best to call and what info I need to hand? I haven’t bothered up till now but I just want putting out of my misery.

I sent zero evidence but lots of contact details for professionals etc so I’m not holding my breath, I just want to know!

1,5,1,4 if I’m not mistaken. Childs ref, address, DOB, name of bank, sort code, gp surgery, there’s a few details they’ll ask for tbh but there’s a whole list lol😂 hope that helps x

Tasham25 · 06/12/2024 09:22

Just called no decision but one will be made soon! And I will recieve a text and a letter! But can’t garentee on the text! @addies

addies · 06/12/2024 09:28

@Tasham25 I guess it all depends what 'soon' means to the call handlers 😂

addies · 06/12/2024 09:31

Seeing August NC being awarded on the FB groups now 😖

She said 16th the worst case senerio. She was nice and helpful for a change! She told me to hang in there it will be made soon! But to ring back anytime! It’s down as a text message for decision, but can’t trust the text system!

I've been sad, shocked and surprised by some of those posters who I've been following a long time who have been declined these last couple of weeks. I've given up hope honestly.

Kc1999x · 06/12/2024 09:40

This is me. Lost hope completely for my MR. But I’m ready for tribunal anyways

I'm feeling like it's a decline at this point so preparing myself mentally. Not trying to be negative but it's taking a very long time. My youngest took 14 weeks in February and they have the same diagnosis but I feel it's whoever reads it has a different interpretation at this point!

Be prepared for for MR! That’s what I’ve done. Set myself up for a decline so I know my next steps. Hope for the best prepare for the worst

addies · 06/12/2024 09:56

@Tasham25 not sure I've got a MR in me. I've got no evidence to add to what I've already given. I've fought for help but told we can't have any as DD is academically the highest performer in her school. Seems to be the only measure they use of how hard someone finds life and how much extra care they need. Ironically, I don't think she'll cope with mainstream secondary school but there are no SEN schools that can meet her needs academically. So she won't be performing for them at all then, will she.

addies · 06/12/2024 09:59

@SMO212 yes you are right about that. If it's one thing I've learned from these posts / groups it is the total inconsistency of decisions. I can't remember if it was here or FB, but I remember one poor lady writing how she had a DM phone her and apologise after her MR for the original award decision (complete decline). He awarded her HRC. How on earth can someone go from decline to HRC? It doesn't make sense.

You don’t need evidence! Write a letter stating in depth what you go through and what happens that’s what I do! They don’t live your life with your daughter so give the an inside look with a letter. My daughter only struggles with maths and English! Other than that she is doing well! They won’t give her any help and has a toilet pass for her urology problem. She is 14 and they have only now just decided to do the assesment for echo! Little too late because she’s in year 10. But they want it to help her with gcse. (Yeah because all the other years didn’t matter, it frustrates me) but we have to continue to fight for our children!

because I’m very close to the end now I’m just getting a horrible feeling. But im ready to go, I have every bit of fight in me! Gearing up for tribunal of school placement aswell so bring it on!!

addies · 06/12/2024 10:11

@Tasham25 I've already done a letter in depth of what we go through in my original application. I've responded to every question in a desperate word document in length and used the cerebra guide. School have also written an a4 letter and care plan, sensory diet etc. I haven't been declined yet, so don't want to get too bogged down, but I feel it coming and don't know what else I can provide.

That was supposed to say a 'separate' word document, not desperate 😂😂 that's really made me laugh. Either one is true!!

@SKB12 she couldn’t answer as to why people after my date are being looked at so soon. Said it is done in date order I said clearly not when people are having theirs looked at in less than 10 weeks🙃
