Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

I’m looking online and all day free post I’m going to pay for special delivery was just wanting to make sure I have the address right I’m literally off to post today 🤣🤣 x

Yeah they’ve been received and scanned. My 3-5 day signed for service gets to them the next day but is a fraction of the cost, doesn’t always get scanned on the day it’s received though which isn’t a worry x

God I hope so I’ll ring them to let them know it’s on the way then maybe leave it untill next week x school was okay got 4:5 teachers all saying the same thing so let’s see x

well I’ve stuck to my guns and not rang today🤞🏽😂

I have done sent cost me £8.35 but said it will get there by 1pm tomorrow x

It's nuts the amount it costs to make sure stuff gets to them in the post, hope it all gets sorted soon 🤞🤞

I know absolutely ridiculous even more madness that they wait 20 weeks to then tell you they want more stuff 🙈🙈 oh well

It's bloody awful, they really need to go electronic it would save so much time and money

I know I wouldn’t have minded so much but the details she has asked for the peoples information was on the claim form they could have picked up the phone and asked them and had it sorted the same day but here we are a week later 🙈🙈

Awwhh your lucky I called today and she told me that this information cant be seen and I shouldn't expect to hear anything back until January. but its looks like it takes roughly around 1-3weeks for a decision to be made.

Hi, can I join? Mine was scanned on on the 18/7, and other than having a letter to say that they have received it I have heard nothing. I called a month ago and they said before Christmas.

Has anyone with a July scan date heard anything yet?

Hi my scan date was 16/07 for COC called yesterday and still not with a decision maker yet. They told me to call back on Friday if I haven't heard by then

I’m 18/07 too but mines a MR. There’s a few that have had decisions from July in here. Everyone is very supportive and kind in this thread, it will help keep you sane while you wait😅

I would phone Tom my scan date was 19/07 new claim and a dm rang me last week asking for more information x

Just missed a phone call aaaah now have to wait for them to ring me back tomorrow between 8am and 4pm anyone know what they will ask. Scan date nc 30/07

Thank you all so much. I’m so worried that they will get to January and then want more information, so it will be another 26 week wait while they process that! And then a no and a MC so another 26 wait. I don’t know if I’m ready to lose 18 months of my life 😂😂😭😭
