Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

NC SD 26/07 called just now and still no decision, was told I’d have a decision by 20 weeks which is Friday but he said it can take up to the very last minute to make a decision, couldn’t say if it was with a decision maker or not.

26th July here - absolutely torture but well done to those that have had successful outcomes

Any MRs been awarded recently? It’s like they are gathering dust and they pick up the odd one when they feel it. x

Just done this at poxt office rang dla uploaded new tracking ref number she has put note on system she said give them till Thursday to be on their system and hopefully descion by Friday x how long was your sorted once sent sp delivery text day please

Same scan date, I rang on Friday and was told the same thing, hoping to hear something before then, have seen so many with same scan date and after awarded.

Seeing a lot of new claims done today on Facebook for the last week of July🙏 haven’t seen any MRs or COCs

I was doubtful mine would be before Christmas. They’ve completely stalled and even missed Julys and jumped on to later months. I’ll be glad to get on to January now tbh so I can demand an outcome

Yes I feel this. 9th of jan they said it has to be done by, so if anything demanding a response on the 9th🤦🏽‍♀️

keep looking out for yours honestly it’s awful isn’t it.. was you turned down all together or wanting to change your award?
mine was completely turned down on that I sent no evidence so my own fault really, kicking myself for not doing so when I’ve wods of stuff going back from 2021 with my son..
I was really hoping I would hear before Xmas but don’t think that will be the case now x

I’m done with December. I just know it won’t be done. You’ve still got a good chance of having yours assigned. As soon as they open back up next year I’ll be calling. I wouldn’t be as annoyed had they not started doing all the way to October, that’s not ok

I’m 2 weeks after 06/08 no chance they will get that far this side of Christmas they can’t seem to cope with Julys workload

Coc- they extended his care award for 8 years but declined mobility. Going for HRM under smi🤞🏽and I think it depends who’s desk it lands on, my sons first time claim was awarded with no evidence🤷🏽‍♀️ and tbh you’ll probably hear before me at this rate lmao

Just seen on Facebook someone’s MR decision made on Friday scan date 19/07

At least it’s looking good for new claims and cocs.

In which case why hasn’t yours even been allocated. If you were to call up you’d get no explanation. I was so sure yours would be last week I really can’t imagine it being after Christmas!

Hope you get the decision you want very soon. it does seem to depend very much on the DM doesn’t it I’ve seen so many awards with no evidence on fb .. wish I’d sent all letters originally and avoided all this it will be a year in January since I first applied.
