Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

I think they are working the weekends still, just no one’s posting. I think we’ll see a lot of new people in here on the lead up to Christmas!

I don’t know if it’s wishful thinking but I hope to see a flurry of good outcomes in the run up to Christmas. I was told to ring mid December not sure there’s much point 🥴

A decision maker has agreed to my back payment on uc for child disability element and carers Wednesday last week and now nothing I’ve messaged them and rang they told me it’s Upto a work coach to inform me the payment and process it🙈 this waiting around is schocking its one wait to another, im hoping that it’ll be sorted soon but I’ve given up hope

They are sending texts on a Sunday so maybe a good sign. It would make sense not to drag any more than necessary in to the new year

Counting down the days I’m sure but they’ll also be aware it’s just more work for when they are back. If we go to January I’m seeing it as the final hurdle. Yours really should be this week though x

Congrats on your award... feel like I'm almost there now SD 29/7 NC. I called Thursday and got straight through to a really nice helpful lady who said my son was at the top off the list for a decision (don't know what that means) and to call back friday if I've not heard. Can I please ask what number the texts come through on, as my phone likes to think every number is spam and blocks and deletes... I've only received the two letters, one when they have it on the system, and the follow up, but no txt messages. Thank you 😊

@4forall theres a few of us now that are SD 29/07! We've all been told we're next...fingers crossed there's news next week. Text messages are really patchy...some people get them, some don't. Hopefully someone can answer with the number!

Usually comes up with “DWP” if you receive a text message. If you receive a call it can be an 0800 or no caller id

It Just comes up as DWP, I haven’t ever received a txt up until this point only 2 letters when I first sent forms and in august to say they were still looking at my claim, I did speak to a really nice gentleman last week and he said he would put a note on there for them to txt me when a decision was made, but from what I’ve read this is really hit and miss, I have my fingers crossed for you and hope you hear in the coming week 🤞🏻

17 weeks tomorrow. May give them a call and see what they fob me off with this time 😂 x

All that talk of overtime and getting more decision makers in doesn’t seem to have happened then. At least come Christmas Eve I won’t be wondering if it’s going to be January for a decision.

My signed 1st class letter back to them posted on 4th still not there royal mail still have it its saying only should take 3 days max.
I'll check again Monday but if not look like it's lost so send again won't be happy has my sd 18th July dm rang me 4th saying she wanted the sen report from school so sent that awaiting for that and she will make descion
