Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July/August for decisions! xx

No 🙈🙈 I’m still waiting for the letters to arrive to me praying there here tomorrow but we’ll see I’ve chased and been told chams was sent 3/12 and school text me Friday to say they sent theirs aswell x

I'm going to ring dla Monday see if it's there as royal mail still no updates and it's defo been sent from post office I know the woman behind counter it left Thursday morning so praying it land Monday to dla offices they have my tracking number so they can track it too
Awful isn't it

Scan date 28th August. Starting to stress now, 15 weeks Wednesday (I know it’s taking about 20). Still waiting for referrals for various things so not necessarily too hopeful although this was the same a year and a half ago with my son and he was awarded but different circumstances.

It really is awful worse this time because the dm told me this is all she’s waiting for and same for you our whole decision lies with this evidence and I figured if we don’t get it to them
this week we’re pushing it fine for a decision before Christmas 🤞🤞 this week is our week x

I know and I'm going to try make it best I can haha if it's not saying any difference t than royal mail have it still tomorrow I will print it out again but this time do it special delivery tracked signed for don't mind paying it if it's gets descion quicker then I can relax over Xmas either the outcome lol

SD 28/08

My son was awarded HRC back in July after going through MR. I was sent out new forms for mobility as he turned 5 in October so currently waiting for that. the full 20 weeks should bring me to 15th January but I've had no correspondence like in my original forms where I had a letter/text message every now and then to say they were still looking at my claim. They haven't acknowledged it other than when I rang up in September to check they had received it. The lady said it was normal to not receive anything. has this happened to anyone else?

It is and cost fortune if the original evidence gets lost so have to do it all again lol just praying I don't have to do it all again and my luck is that it says delivered on royal mail website in morning lol xx

I’ve just looked
on royal website and there is a before 1pm
option that is also Signed and tracked I’m doing that one! X

Wish I'd done that instead 1st classed sign for forst time round but think I'm going to print it out again and send it that way then I knownthey will get it this week upload it onto system in time before Xmas x

Yeah maybe worth the risk sending again and they will get it by lunch tomorrow x fingers crossed please update on how you get on x

If I haven't heard anything by Wednesday, then I'll give them a call.

SD 02/07 MR

was supposed to get a call from decision maker on Friday and again yesterday to see why it’s taking so long and surprise surprise… I heard nothing! I’ll be calling again today to have a major rant! It’s been 23 weeks tomorrow!

SD 25/07 NC called on Tuesday last week to give update of what paediatrician has diagnosed. They put it down as a note. Was told it should be looked at last week.. but then called on Friday and no decision made yet.. and was told she can't see if its being looked at or not.. 19 weeks + 4 days.. said should know by 12th..

I sent evidence on the 21st first class and signed for and it still wasn't signed for on the 4th, they think it got put in the other pile that can 5-10 weeks to get uploaded, so I sent it signed, tracked and rammed down someone's neck 😂 and it was delivered and signed for the next day, royal mail said always send it tracked it's the only way they deal with it quickly x

How quick after you sent it the second time did they upload to your account? X

Phone lines are gonna be chocca this morning😂
