She was very helpful talking to me about starting my MR so I’m going to assume so.

Have you already made a new claim? X

Nicnacnoo82 · 02/12/2024 09:52

I'm going to ring soon as I'm WFH today so my only opportunity to pester them!

Kc1999x · 02/12/2024 09:55

Feel sick waiting rn hate calling

I made new claims for my twins 12/7 and 15/7, 12/7 awarded MRC on 22/11. Have requested statement of reasons for MR for him and still awaiting decision for the other one.

Same! I have never felt so sick as when they told me a decision had been made but they couldn’t transfer me so I had to call back!

Perfectly reasonable if you don’t know there’s 2 claims x

Kc1999x · 02/12/2024 10:01

No decision and not allocated🙃

Nicnacnoo82 · 02/12/2024 10:06

Hate when it cuts out as if someone is going to answer then just goes back to the crappy hold music

Nicnacnoo82 · 02/12/2024 10:32

So just got off the phone......

Not currently allocated been told end of January now, when I queried about what I was told a few weeks ago she told me that was silly and no one can know where it is at anytime until a decision makers name is allocated. I then said oh I was told I was in holding queue 3, which she then replied oh that's different I can now see your in holding queue 2 but said that didn't really mean anything as there are hundreds in there!

She said DM's are allocated so many cases each day and then work through their cases in date order....probs why different dates getting done at different times as it's down to how quick they work through their cases.

I give up now gonna just hope get a nice payout after Christmas.......

this Definitely explains the difference in dates been done then fingers crossed for you soon x

CyanJewel · 02/12/2024 10:45

The last part makes some sense.
Each claim is different and not every DM will work at the same pace so likely the reason for the variation in dates being awarded.
Doesn't make the 20-25 week any more easier tho 😭

Gathering additional evidence in case I need to do an MR
A couple more awards over on FB so that's a good thing.

Kc1999x · 02/12/2024 10:55

I just know mine is gonna be declined so now I just wanna start the process for tribunal, it’s just too damn long

Kc1999x · 02/12/2024 10:57

Like someone from the 8th November did an MR and had it overturned the next day. It’s like they are picking and choosing who to deal with first, I get there’s multiple decision makers however that doesn’t justify how they are doing it

SKB12 · 02/12/2024 11:08

s39 · 02/12/2024 09:51

Is your SD 12/8? NC

06/08 MR

Hmjl2024 · 02/12/2024 11:09

Scan Date 25/07 NC

called to ask if my further evidence I had sent had been scanned on and she said it’s 25 weeks now and will be the middle of January. Honestly don’t know what to believe anymore now.

Oh no I thought you were fairly confident? Honestly I am already looking in to tribunal and my phone to see where all evidence is across folders and emails and trying to get whatever I can new evidence wise. Called up taxi company today as I’ve not received statement from them, he said it should be today. I think they’ve got wriggle room and will decline on that basis. Best I’m hoping for is that they will change their mind ahead of tribunal

I’ve thought the same. It seems to me as if they are looking through the cases and getting the fairly “straight cut” ones out of the way first. That completely contradicts the strict date order rubbish they say on the phone when questioned

Oh no I don’t understand these time scales especially when they told someone they are bringing in more staff hopefully you hear soon x

I think to be honest it’s just to stop people ringing. As she was saying just enjoy your Christmas and wait until January I said that’s easier said than done when you was told 15 then 20 which I am so close to and now 25 weeks. Don’t understand how I could be waiting another 6 and a bit weeks anyway when some of the 22/07 have got decisions! X

Kc1999x · 02/12/2024 09:55

If they could just give a definite week to call back that isn’t the standard line of 25 weeks, it would make the waiting more bearable.

Also they are going to have to bring in more staff as if it carries on it will be 30-40weeks wait which is just not feasible x
