Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July for decisions! xx

This made me chuckle shouldn’t be laughing but your right the unknown is a joke and I’m just hoping you get your answer soon how many weeks are you now? X

Morning everyone, scan date 19/07 for new claim.
Woke up this morning to full back payment. I'm so happy the wait is finally over. Will ring up this morning to see but I'm sure my daughter has been awarded HRC. Fingers crossed for everyone else this week.

It’s absolutely painstaking isn’t it! I’m 19/07 new claiM and not a peep yet not phoning again now I know it’s with a case manger looks like I’m waiting 20 weeks 🙈🙈

Someone above is the 19/07. I think you may have a decision👀👀

Yeah they got backpay I seen that I’m not phoning remember me saying I think it’s a decline so I’m just waiting on the letter now because im not hopeful for my eldest and I’d rather not get bad news on the phone 🤣🤣 xx

SD 17/7. Was really hoping for back pay this morning - nothing! Expecting the worst.

This is my thought process now aswell, I’m gonna be devastated on the phone if it’s bad news so do I actually want to call😂🤦🏽‍♀️

SD 06/08 back payment in bank this morning, MRC LRM. Kinda thought it may have been HRC but yknow what I’m just happy the wait is over. Thank you for keeping me sane during that wait! Good luck to the rest of yous, you’ve got this x

Im So tempted to call but won’t be doing scan date 19/07 new claim was told Thursday it had gone to a case manager

I just rang 18 weeks and no decision

The wait gets so much harder the closer you get to the 20 week mark

Call back tomorrow so surely that means it’s been looked at today? Surely there not going to have you calling tomorrow if they know it’s not been done today. What’s your scan date x fingers crossed for you

I’m 20 weeks today which is why she said to call back tomorrow, but it’s been with the DM for a week so I’m not convinced there will be a decision tomorrow either…
