Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court
scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision
original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update 0800 121-4600

currently we are in July for decisions! xx

Annoyed this morning. Son’s chaperone said she’s not able to write a letter but yesterday said she would. Not sure why she wouldn’t be able to write a letter for him.

20 weeks tomorrow still nothing

17 weeks +4 days and nothing

That’s strange I’ve seen people in similar situations have supporting letters wrote for them🤔

Been cut off twice so far

19 weeks Tommorow and nothing for me to fingers crossed for people Today 🤞🤞

Exactly what I said to hubby. She was all for it yesterday, it’s not the first time she’s told me about his upset in the taxi. I’ve let DLA know and given taxis number if they want to speak to them about it. Any news on your claim? I’m using as a rough guide to mine 🥴

I know I wouldn’t mind if they literally gave it straight from the start that 15 week letter is pointless sending it out tempted to call but I don’t have it in me anymore 🤣🤣 x

I was cheeky and asked if it’s with anyone. Still waiting to be assigned which isn’t a surprise really being 16 + 2 😂

Our letter said 11 weeks what a difference to 25 weeks. I was thinking at the time 11 weeks isn’t too bad. PIP MRs are 15 weeks, I'm going through that for myself

This is half their problem why people are phoning so much because they give false information if at first I’d have been told 20 weeks then possibly another 5 for a decision I wouldn’t be so bothered I hope you hear soon and get the new you want! 🤞🤞

Spoke to someone yesterday still in queue for a decision maker🙃

They must have a huge amount of reconsiderations, perhaps if they awarded correctly in the first place..

Actually think they are told to lie. A DM was telling me they like to be as transparent as possible, i had to cut him off and say that certainly didn’t apply to the call handlers

Bar the awards late yesterday, nothing today?

Yeah and i wont call again because they are so
rude and abrupt with people just not worth it to be told the same speel over and over again! Pointless to say the least

Hi, I’m new here. My sd is 30/7 and we are just applying for our eldest who is 14 with ASD. I just saw a post on fb from someone who had received back pay today for a claim with a sd of 1/8! I chanced my luck and rang for an update and the bloke on the phone just sounded as though he was reading off a sheet to say 20 weeks don’t ring again until then 🙄

I’m going to try and leave calling for as long as possible too, it’s disheartening to hear the same thing each time

I don’t think at this point they even know what they are doing everyone keeps getting told completely different information 🤞🤞 you hear soon enough
