Hey 👋 we are a NC with scan date 18/7
When I phoned last Monday I spoke to a lady who told me claims are averaging 20 weeks and not to call back until 13th Dec but as that's a Friday she said she would personally wait until the mon 16th!? Fingers crossed it's not too long the wait is awful:( Goodluck Everyone!

MellowSheep · 22/11/2024 12:30

Hi all - SD 15/07 for a new claim. I want to call up but I can't find the refence number anywhere. Can they find you from your name/address etc?

Edited

This is exactly what they said to
me last week I’m nc scan date 19/07 and the gentleman told me to wait untill the 13th December before I call again but then seeing claims on Facebook been awarded at 17/07 so I’m in two minds if they even know what they are saying anymore xx

dshort1994 · 22/11/2024 12:36

Hi Guys,

Congrats on everyone who’s been awarded today 😊

Mines a new claims SD 26/07. I’ve just called and got straight through. Unfortunately still no update, was told to wait until the 20 weeks. I posted some additional evidence first class signed for & tracked on Wednesday & he confirmed that it was showing on the system today. I was panicking as I forgot to include the child reference number but they still received it & added it to my claim.

Fingers crossed we get some more awards today & over the weekend! 🤞

Is this for MR? Maybe I will cave and call them 🤣

Yes for MR. They have even done one for September!

SKB12 · 22/11/2024 12:40

Kc1999x · 22/11/2024 12:15

I’m gonna call up shortly and put a complaint in. They need to make up their mind on how the system works. Proper annoyed today I am.

I am tempted to do the same tbh. When I have put it to a DM that dates beyond what they are quoting have been done they have said they aren’t aware of that and don’t know why those dates would be done when they are working on June dates

SKB12 · 22/11/2024 12:42

I think those who have seen dates beyond theirs should consider asking for an explanation. There is no point having a scan date if they aren’t working in strict date order as they are claiming

Thanks. I just called and got told no decision and to wait for 2nd Dec....

Can you speak to someone through general enquiries about MRs?
the call handlers through the MR options are so blunt🤦🏽‍♀️

PollyH3 · 22/11/2024 12:52

Ceb2018 · 22/11/2024 11:54

@PollyH3

is yours a new claim? What’s your scan date?x

Yes new claim 8th July 😭

SKB12 · 22/11/2024 12:57

1st July for MRs which we know to be rubbish!

Ceb2018 · 22/11/2024 12:59

@PollyH3 Have you been able to call today to see if a decision has been made yet? It’s so disheartening when you see your date come and go with other’s awarded! Fingers crossed you don’t need to wait much longer!

I asked to be put through to a DM and asked why it’s not being done in date order. She said they are now on 1st July and didn’t know any more than that. I don’t believe them. Ours hasn’t been allocated to a DM yet what a surprise

SKB12 · 22/11/2024 13:05

I agree they are rude when the automated message asks us to be kind and abuse won’t be tolerated. I suggest they practise what they preach. I’ve always been polite and understand they are only call handlers which is why I ask to speak to DMs

Hey can you actually ask to speak to a dm can you? X

S/D 14/07. Got declined today based on not enough evidence. EHCP wasn't enough as this just covers my child in school (she's in a specialist school). Any other evidence was deemed unsatisfactory. My child is autistic and has been diagnosed since they were 6. Well, that was a waste of time.

PollyH3 · 22/11/2024 13:11

@Ceb2018 I've put off calling until after 4. Although I'm not holding out any hope. But yeah it really is disheartening that it's not done in order

Chloe132 · 22/11/2024 13:11

Has Any one had a decision for 12 July coc

Aw no, so sorry. I don’t have much hope as I only had the acceptance letter from Camhs and the schools Input - age 11, on pathway for ADHD / autism. Hope you do MR xxx

Ceb2018 · 22/11/2024 13:12

@TheRoseSnake oh I’m so sorry that they have decided this! I don’t know how they come to these conclusions surely a specialist school and a EHCP suggest that the child will need extra care or mobility needs. The system seems so faulted sometimes. Did you call in?

Are you a new claim?

Nc and coc both scan dated 4 /july

TheRoseSnake · 22/11/2024 13:15

Thanks everyone. I don't really have much faith in the system, so I am unsure whether or not I will put in for a MR. At least I can stop stressing over it now, it's done I guess. Good luck to everyone waiting 😊
